Glad you featured Artichoke and Sundance. Painted kitchen cabinets in Artichoke for a client and they went from “yawn” to gorgeous. Sundance has always been a favorite of mine. It’s such a happy color! Just use it sparingly lol. It can be a lot if it’s used to paint an entire room!🌸
FIRST! And answering a question of mine! Am considering Scandi/Japandi for my interior. Would be great if you listed in the description and or time stamped the video to the color you're featuring. Thank you for doing these wonderful videos-am learning so much!
Love the video! A word of warning to anyone considering crushed ice would be that you need a lot of good light. In our house it looks dreary and purple, so we are paying to repaint.
I am in the same boat having to repaint. I chose BM Pale Oak and it's dreary purple undertones took all the life out of my space. Luckily. Sherwin Willis having a 25% off sale beginning this Frid. But what a lot of work ahead! NOT HAPPY
Love, love, love, LOVE this one. Hello Yellow! And orange. My two faves and just yesterday, Hubby went to the market and picked me up yellow/orange flowers. Just makes me soooo happy to see the brightness of flower and wall. I have a custom yellow on my wall that I got colour matched a long time ago, but only recently painted my kitchen it. It's called, Super Duper Yellow. Turns out when we colour-match, we also get to name that colour. Hot dog. Great combos that you picked with the yellow. So fun. Cheers, Ivy.
@@thepaintpeople Okay, cool. Next time I have a mound of dishes, which is almost always, I'll take a look at more of those episodes that I missed! I love that I don't see any green in that yellow. I don't mind green in yellow but indoors, I'd rather not have it. I dunno why. I like green. Anyway, thanks!
I think Lakeside would be GORGEOUS as door/trims color while the walls are High Reflective white. I love the artichoke, but I'm scared it would clash with my blues.
Hi love your content. 👏 But as a greenlandic inuit. I get a bit thrown by the map you used showing Greenland as a part of scandinivia? Greenland is part of the inuit culture, such as Alaska, Canada and Siberia. 😊
your map is showing all the Nordic countries: Greenland, Iceland, Åland( not sure Åland was on the map but it is Nordic) Norway, Finland, Sweden and Denmark ---however there is only 3 of those who are Scandinavian :Norway, Sweden and Denmark ---love your show from Denmark-in Denmark darker blue is very popular however seldom in paint but in paintings, rugs or furniture, I would say more popular than light baby blue

What is the name of the soft yellow color that is shown in a living-room at the start of this video please?
I used BM White Dove to get my look which is a mix of Scandi and Mid Century. To me, it feels light and clean and because my light comes from the north, I needed a little warmth. Also, nearly every accent color works with White Dove. My ceiling are just plain white and my trim and doors are Behr Pure Ultra White. I guess we all figure out how to get there by trial and error and no two homes are the same.
Lakeside is very pleasant, while Artichoke is startling and my favorite from this vid. Sundance was too much for me as it is on the side of the color 😆wheel that disturbs me.
I have used Alabaster before Navajo white... forgot about that, but I am trying hard to make a decision on colors with summer right around the corner here in California. But, thanks for your vids and good sense of humor lol
I like the warmth of Origami White.
Me too!
Just by seeing these colors, I would love to spend some time of vacationing in Scandinavia.
Yessssss.

Love to hear that Happy! I did a couple videos about how colour impacts mood and I experience it all the time.

Love a darker trim!
Leathery Orange is also an iconic accent

Thank you for sharing! Lakeside was my choice out of this palette.
Thanks for watching!
This is the most amazing timing!! I have been searching your channel for this exact video. Thank you!
Woohoo! In alignment!
Why is there no mention of the color Snowbelt?
Can you compare BM alabaster and BM gardenia?
Thank you for this. Love scandi. Loved all the colors except the blue. Looked a little cold
Nice!

Love White Dove and that would work great also! I agree! I enjoy the trial and error process.
Great video. Thanks.
You are welcome!

Very helpful!
Glad it was helpful!
What colors in the BM line are comparative to Origami and Crushed Ice?

Thanks for that Janelle! What are you leaning towards?
I think I wanna use Alabaster or Navajo white for my trim
.
I just can't decide, James lol and its June 1st tomorrow! I will have to narrow it down because I have the rooms all cleaned and ready.
@@tamarastone141 either one is great
Sundance, please and thank you. The inside of my front door is this hue.
You're very welcome!
What color paint is the wood paneled wall below the Alabaster wall?
It looks like the oak barrel he talked about. I love that color also!
@@HeyMrsWalkerTheBrand Thank you! Is it a new color? I have an old Sw paint deck
@@annecyle I think it was one of sherwin williams color of the year last year. He has a video taking about that color specifically I think
Yes, Oak Barrel!
Thank you!
Artichoke! Only need BM. Any suggestions? For my kitchen cabinets
Hmm, nothing super close comes to mind but you could look at something like BM Passion Vine? Or Tate Olive? Behr Ecological is actually quite close.
Hi there what is the trim color at 2:43 in the video? That is a lovely combination! Thanks!
I believe that's the crushed ice!
Also isnt behr ultra pure white the highest LRV white around?
I believe it is!
@@thepaintpeople its on my wall, i never tire of it because i love switching out accessories 😀
All these videos show rooms with lots of windows and light. But what about small rooms with one window? 👎
