    Internet troll logic: I can do 3 reps of 120, which is really close to 140. If I trained really hard for a month I could probably do 160, which is basically 180. So yeh. I can squat 200.

      croscoloser I hate when people use that argument. Whenever the weight gets heavy suddenly its fine for the spotter to help? no. If someone broke the world record for a squat/bench and a spotter helped him, you don't say "its fine he lifted it." cos he didn't.
      Nonetheless this guy is very impressively strong and can definitely squat 200kg alone in a proper rack with safety arms

    LOL to all those haters saying this guy juices. I'm also 16 and I squat slightly over 410lbs belt-less and have never juiced. Its not too far of from 440. I've been lifting for only a year and half and it is very easily achievable. Keep in mind some people when younger, participate in activities that helps build extra muscle mass. My first 1 RM was 250lbs and have made good progress since then considering shitty sleeping patterns and lack of nutrition.

    It would take months of plyometrics and leg weights training to develop such strength and endurance in the legs to lift such a heavy weight, so this cant be fake plus it depends on the metal that the weights are made from as well. They are heavier than they look.

Surprisingly I used to only do roughly 50 kg on the leg press now I'm doing just over 141 kg because I was pushed to do more but I couldn't fully agree on "good genes" as it could also be your somatotype.

    • @epic1053
      @epic1053 6 лет назад

      Hey mate for a long time I stagnated only being able to squat around 70kg really frustrated me . I recently managed to squat 110kg(I weigh 67kg), and seem to be still progressing I would highly recommend doing heavy singles and box squats. vary the height . Sometimes squat low, sometimes squat shallow to get used to a heavier weight. Weightlifting shoes can also help alot! also try heavy leg press for singles/doubles/triples, aim to raise your leg press, there will be carry over to your squat. My brother squats 1.7 times his body weight in about 10 months of lifting, he doesn't squat often, but he does heavy leg press about twice a week. Sorry dude just realised how old your comment is, how's the squatting coming along? In my opinion I stagnated at such an early stage because the only exercise for leg strength was ass to grass squatting with medium to high reps. For a natural lifter a decent exercise selection is important otherwise stagnation is very likely.

    I do 110kg x 5 at 33 after 6 months training. My objective is to perform at least 1RPM at double my weight. That would be 160Kg before summer!

    Apparently he was actually 18/19 years old in this video, still a considerable amount of weight but the age difference does make this a much less impressive feat
