    i love how half the people commenting on this video are hating, he is 16 and squatted 6 plates ass to the grass......that is impressive as fuck. and that was obviously a pr where he was pushing his limit so its expected for form to not be perfect.

    It's called a raw video, but he's using straps, wrist wraps and a belt. What he's doing is as impressive as fuck, but shouldn't have called it a raw video

      +Harrison booth Straps aren't raw, but in a powerlifting context it's raw. He could also use knee sleeves on the squat if he so chooses.

      Harrison booth IDK any federation that disallows belt, sleeves and wraps. I should also clarify that I actually meant that straps arent raw, but in a powerlifting context everything else is raw. I realised, reading what I wrote, it doesn't make much sense.

    When I put four 20kg plates on each side of an olympic bar, the bar bends a bit. Surely 6 plates each side would cause the bar to bend much more.

    joder solo tiene 16 años y ya levanta casi 3 veces su peso, y yo tengo 21 años, peso 68 kg y mi récord esta en 80 kg squat y solo con 1 repetición. Pero con la diferencia que yo soy un corredor de ciclismo de ruta. Aunque es de admirar lo que hace este chico en el gimnasio.

    Why did you stop your deadlift at 460? Looks like you could've easily hit 480 or 490 maybe even 500.

      Gregory & Jahn No kidding lol. I have very similar shoes and I workout in them. They are falling apart to pieces been trying to stop by Nike Outlet for some weight lifting shoes, but damn, if this kid can squat over 400 in Converse I should at least be able to squat 3 plates. :(

    didnt pause the bench, i'll give you 235 paused.(still impressive hitting 275 at your age though, even with the bounce) should have went for more on that dead looked easy.

    thats not 535kg. Theres 6 plates on each side, so 12x20 = 240kg, +20kg from the bar. 260kg

      +BigManJay69 I see this kind of stuff at gyms all the time. You get these young powerlifters who are allot smaller than this guy squaring some huge weights but they lean way forward and put allot of lower back into it. This youngster is not nearly as bad as some Ive seen. Then when you say anything on You Tube you get the powerlifting groupies who go on and on about how it is powerlifting. My opinion you gotta have size to handle super heavy weights. At least he has some leg size. Better than 80% of the powerlifting dickheads I see in You Tube. They look stupid as shit with their skinny ass builds lifting these huge weights. I think is this youngster just gets some coaching he will be fine. Remember he is only 16 wtf where any of you dipshits doing at 16? I agree he needs to learn control and form but shit he is young and if he gets some good coaching watch out. At least he isn't your typical powerlifter either skinny legged or fat as shit.

      +Steve Robinson least he doesnt have a huge ass gut and skinny weird look legs with little dinky quads and a big ass. I see some powerlifters who look silly as hell and squat with this ridiculously wide ass stance. That bullshit is for people who have no quads and a big ass. I think they should limit how wide you can go. Shoulder width should be it. Anything wider is nothing but some silly ass leverage attempt. I friggen hate these powerifters who go on and on about how its powerlifting yadda yadda. Ive trained around some of them who never place worth a shit in meets and train like pussies. No warrior at all just a bullshit artist who is afraid to do any reps and actually have to bust ass. Doing 1 to 2 reps is not busting ass its just showing off. Look at George Leeman that guy does 800 plus lbs deadlifts for 8 reps and literally no one can touch him becuase he busts ass. If some of these lazy fucks would actually train hard in the off season the might actually win.
