This video explains things out of order (IMO) and makes the game seem more complex than it is. Compared to UNO: 1. ALL matches are by number, but you can "add" two cards to use them as one. 2. There are TWO piles to match, you can match one or both in one turn, and those you do are removed and replaced for the next player. 3. If you match by color, you can discard to create a temporary additional pile. A double color match forces everyone but you to draw 1 as well.

DOS, alternative rules; how to play. These are rules to play dos with if the original rules are unclear. The objective of the game is to accumulate 222 points. You can also play to be the first person to win two consecutive rounds. Shuffle the deck and the dealer will deal out 10 cards to each player. Flip the top card of the draw pile over to create a discard pile. The player left of the dealer goes first. On your turn, you can play a card by matching color or number with the top number on the discard pile. You may also play any color "#" card on top of a number card to match by number, with it taking the value of the previous card. Alternatively, you can play two cards at once by adding up two cards to equal the number on top of the discard pile. Place both cards on the discard pile, one stacked on top of the other. The card that is on top becomes the new card on the discard pile. If you unable to play, or do not wish to play, you must draw TWO cards. If either card can play on its own, or both cards add up to the previous number card, they may be played immediately. Your turn now ends. "2" cards are wilds, and can be played on anything to change the color. They also have a value of two, so they can be used with another card to add up to the value of a previous card. Please note that other players can match your two card by number, and potentially ignore your color. When you are down to exactly TWO cards, you may say "DOS". If you do not say "DOS" and are caught before the next player's turn, you must take a four card penalty. If you never end up having two cards, for instance, by adding up two cards, you do not need to say "DOS". You only say "DOS" if you have exactly two cards. Once somebody runs out of cards, the round ends and points are tallied. The winning player receives points based on the cards still remaining in opponent's hands. Scoring is as follows: All number value cards except 2 are worth their face value. "#" cards are worth 22 points. Wild "2" cards are worth 44 points. If a player had exactly TWO cards when the round ends, with at least one of which being a "#" OR "2" card, then the winning player receives an additional 22 point bonus. Once points have been scored, if nobody has reached 222 points, then all cards are gathered and a new round begins. The first player to reach 222 points, or win two rounds in row, wins. Thanks for reading. If you enjoyed these fan made rules, or if there is anything you think I should change, tell me in the replies.
What I learned😂: 1. Match the number either the color or any color important is the number is match it can be double or single match. 2. If you match the number with double match with same color to the center, everyone will draw then you can place 1 card from your hand to the table. 3. Wild cards: the 2 wildcard that is any color match you can use that for double match with double color and everyone will draw. 3. The # sign wild card will represent any number either single match or double match that can match the number at center. 4. If you can't match the card at the center you draw a card then next player will play. 5. If you have 2 cards left you should shout DOS that means you only have 2 cards left if not you will get another 2 cards from the center. The objective of the game is the first one to reach the 200 points. But for me the first one who will finish first the game will be the winner 😂
This first version of DOS for me is a little confusing to understand, the Second Version is easier and clearer to understand in my opinion. But that doesn't mean I won't buy both versions. Will Mattel make an Attack version of DOS? I don't see that it would be a bad idea...
Ok so lemme get this straight, You technically have 2 discard piles at the start of the game at the centre row. You can play 1 card with matching number or 2 cards that add up to the number on one of the discard piles. If the card/cards has the same number and colour of the card, you remove those cards, add 2 more cards from the draw pile and 1 card from your hand onto the center row. The wild card with the number 2 on it is a 2 of any colour. If you have 2 cards in your hand you must shout out dos
Dos: how to play: The object of the game is to be the first player to score 200 points. You score points each round by being the first player to get rid of all the cards in your hand. Set up, pick a player to deal, shuffle the deck and deal each player 7 cards. Players should look at their own cards, but keep them hidden from their opponents. Place the deck face down on the table and flip over the top 2 cards called the center row. The player left of the dealer goes first, then play proceeds clockwise. On your turn, you must either match one or both cards in the center row or draw a card from the draw pile. To match a single number, play a card from your hand that has the same number value as one of the cards in the center row. If this card also happens to have the same color as the card in the center row, then at the end of your turn, place one card from your hand face up, adding it to the center row. To match a double number, play 2 cards from your hand and only two that add up to the total of 1 of the center row cards, placing both cards on top of it. If both cards happen to have the same color as the center row card, then at the end of your turn, place one card from your hand face up onto the table, adding it to the center row. Then every other player draws one card from the draw pile. After you play a match on the center row card, you are allowed to play again on another center row card that hasn't already been played on this turn. If you cannot or do not want to make a match, you must draw one card. If you now can make a match and would like to, you may do so. If you don't play a card, lay one card face up in the center row to end your turn. Discard all the piles of cards in the center row that have more than one card on them. Single cards stay. If there are now fewer than two center row cards, Flip over cards from the draw pile into the center row until there are two. Finally, if you scored any colored bonuses, place those cards in the center row. Now there are two special cards. The Wild Dose card counts as two of any color. You decide what its color is when you play it. The wild number symbol card counts as any number from 1:00 to 10:00 in that card's color. You decide what its number is when you play it. If either wild card is face up in the center row, then you decide what color or number it is when you match to it. Whenever you have exactly 2 cards in your hand, you must say dose, meaning 2. If you don't and another player catches you, you must immediately draw 2 cards unless it is currently your turn, then you must wait until the end of your turn to draw the two cards. The first player to get rid of all the cards in their hand ends the round. Apply any double matching color bonuses, then score points. The player that went out earns points based on all the remaining cards. In other players hands, number cards one and three through 10 are worth their face value. Each wild dose is worth 20 points, and each wild number symbol is worth 40 points. If no player has 200 points or more, gather up all the cards, shuffle and play another round with the winner of the previous round dealing the next. The first player to get 200 or more points wins.
You can pretty much do this with regular uno cards by treating the wild cards as the one in the video, and the reverse cards as the # cards. I guess through out the +2 cards.
Cinco: match card by gradient or element. Rules: Helium-Iron - swap hands with someone if Helium. All if Iron. Quad jump-in - same as 'Jump-in' but quad. Win if -24 cards left - idk how to explain this one
Explaining rules for teapots: There are 2 cards on the table with numbers, you need to put 1-2 cards to match this number (for example: there is a 4. You can put 4, 3+1, 2+2 e.t.c.) You can for his for ALL center cards in 1 turn. If all cards have same color, you add 1 more card to the center and everyone else takes 1 card. Then every center card that you played is changed (but not new center card) There is 2 that can be any colour and # that can be any number. Also you must shout dos if you have 2 cards.
What confuses me is the fact that when a player, who is unable to play any of their cards, draws a card, they add another one to the center row. Which is the same result as the reward for playing a color match.. So there's no penalty for being unable to play?
There is, because you draw one and add one to the center row, you end up with the same number of cards, while if you were able to play you would have lost a card.
@@irasac1 okay, yeah, that makes sense. And now they there's 3 cards on the table, everyone else has a better chance of getting rid of one or more cards from their hand.
@@irasac1 it does feel under-baked, and lacking in major set backs. The conditions by which your hand ever grows are rare so it feels like rounds will be over really quickly, like if there was a blue 5 and a yellow 5, and started with a blue 2 and 3 and a yellow 1 and 4, and then two wild numbers, that's the game over in two turns without any chance of being interrupted. The next player, who now has 8 cards because of the penalty incurred by the massive play of the last player, then could play 6 doubles and be at dos.. and still have no chance at beating the first player. The game needs some modification to be more substantial. A bidding system, maybe? Or more conditions by which cards need to be drawn. On top of that it seems outside this video the rules are poorly communicated by even the creators of this game. Very undercooked
So when you put one of your cards in the center row as a color bonus, and it gets matched, do we have to draw a 3rd card into the center row? Or keep 2 cards in the center row?
So after your turn and put the center row in the discord pile and you put two new cards down and one from your hand, what happens to the card you put down out your hand?

@@inanefool8781 yup. But i still feel like the rules are missing something...
@@inanefool8781 yeah i got the same feeling. I wonder if there were Draw cards since it's a Uno spin off, the game could play out longer.
I don't get the third discard pile on the center row pls help 😭
# and 10 (replacing 0)
2 and wild card combined
I can finally understand how to play this thing, except the colour thing and stuff xdd
This deserves a “subscribe”
Question. Do you plan on remaking this video?
How did the card on the table got dleted 1:05
I got this to play with my kids but decided to go with something a bit simpler like The Cones of Dunshire.
What snext? Thres?
I assume you can have more than 3 cards in the center row?
What about tres or Quatro?
What to do if a wild DOS is in the center row, and you match it with another wild DOS card
Then it is a number and color match.
instructions unclear: started playing uno and blackjack at the same time
And there go my last braincells.....
When is Cien Coming out?
Do I seriously need a piece of paper to keep track of each player's points? 🥱
if you want to, yes. if not, no.
For those who dosent know
Dos
Wild dos - 20 pts
# - 40 pts
Example The number is two
If you don’t have two
Use 1 and 1 bc of the sum of 2
1:12 got me confused. Is it a mistake or what?
I just have one question that remains unanswered...how much is a colour bonus?
Now we just gotta wait for Tres
underrated game
THE BEST COPYRIGHT © OF THE LIFETIME
But what if you have 3 cards and play 2 of them, is it an exception to the second card rule?
Yeh, you don't have to say "Dos."
I love your uno tutorials. But Dos is way too complicated for me to enjoy it. But that isn’t your fault, it’s Mattel’s.
Am I the only person who thought there was only uno?! I was browsing on amazon and found DOS. This is more confusing for me
Is this just colored numbero???
3:38 what score is plain Dos?
Edit:there's apparently no plain dos so oop-
Plain Dos?
Reseasonable.
:)
What happens if I draw 1 card while I have 1 card, so that I would have 2 cards by drawing? Will I have to say "Dos" or not?
Yes.
For people who don't undestand, then try to play while listening to this vidio,it will help you.
Did They Add Tres?
I'm small brain so it's gonna just be uno but with 2 piles
Can you have an another vedio about this pls
So when you put one of your cards in the center row as a color bonus, and it gets matched, do we have to draw a 3rd card into the center row? Or keep 2 cards in the center row?
What shuffle you use the most?
I fainted 3 times watching and learning this tutorial 💀
So after your turn and put the center row in the discord pile and you put two new cards down and one from your hand, what happens to the card you put down out your hand?
Pretty sure it’s now just another card for the original 2 center cards
Thank you! I'll play Uno now.
instructions unclear :
my house is now on fire
Can't wait for the game tres
Can't wait for *TRES*
I'm trying to imagine Ubisoft implementing this as a mode in their game, how possible would it be?
can you skip saying dos if you go straight from 3 to 1?
I searched for DOS games. I ended up here.
