Actually it's plenty of money because you don't have to spend it, and you get free meals and free exercise and new skills. You have a big diverse social opportunity as well. No rent, no bills, no keys, no phone, no car, no cheating girlfriend, none of that junk. You can have empty pockets and be paid for it.

Weather it was dodgy coworkers who always chewed on each other or management that gave no fucks for their employees I couldn't rest or be at peace with the situations and I was going crazy trying to change the places I was at. Put in 20 years. Invest 30% of every paycheck in index funds. You get 50% retirement in the navy after 20 years, between that and the index funds.....you can retire. Or if you don't want to just sit, keep an easier part time job

There's a wife out there overseas waiting for you. Women wait at the finish line for the winners. This will help you understand your path as a man is to have purpose and not be a loser. It will motivate you.
I’m enlisting this year and probably will stay for a while and work on opening a low cost private school that will have a performance arts program, trade program and an huge athletics program including basketball,football, track, esports and more. I want school to be fun but also a place where you can learn important things rather than the dumb curriculums they teach now.
So many haters in here that don’t get it. This is what every wealthy person says and this works inside or outside the military. Educate yourself and get around the right people. Find a skill and invest in yourself. Take action and trust in the process with a solid plan. Make money. The military is just a source of income to get this process started and a way to network.

Get an extensive eye exam. I was pursuing WOFT in the army, basically a helicopter pilot program, but I got disqualified because of my eyes. If you’re interested in joining the military in general I would highly suggest getting your eyes checked for Keratoconus because that’s an automatic disqualifier for the military as a whole, but if your recruiter knows how to finesse you could still secure a job in the military that doesn’t require constant eye exams. Hope you find that useful and good luck out there!
im 16, im in jrotc, iv made the most out my C.T.E class, buissness management, trying to read books, taking advice, have my own buisness, trying to maximize my soft skills, and learning every little think about markiting and money, still dont think it will be enough, to get rich at 19, hes only 3 years older then me and hes got thousands and thousands meanwhile I think when im his age I will be no where close, and then when im in my late 20's only then will I even hope of being finachanlly stable but not rich. Long term goals are important, but without short term goals (within weeks or months of each other), you can't seem to reach your long term goals if you're not motivated enough by achieving the short term goals. Whatever you want to do is up to you or who you want to marry and such, just make sure you write most of your story first before trying to settle down. But as a man, you never settle down. You should always keep your ambition and drive. How do you want your children to see you. Think about that one.
