Mine has been going into deep sleep ever since I got it in 22. I just replaced it with an AGM battery on my own dime last week. Never had a new car that the co was this bad with issues.
Please do a video on the screens on my 25 lariat hybrid maverick... is the battery recall the reason that my old 23 (traded for a 25) hybrid kept saying it was in battery savings mode when I tried to remotely start it? Loved the 23 love this one more. Btw I only lost 4k from my purchase price to trade in price. Thats 275 a month of driving and I smoked in it
Battery on my 23 Mav hybrid has been replaced 2 times already. Truck kept going into deep sleep. Considered getting an AGM battery replacement instead but heard there was a software update to help with it supposed to happen for January or February so I held off.
I have a 2022 Maverick hybrid. The vehicle battery failed twice last Z October. I had the battery checked at m6 local Ford dealership and they said it was good. Have my doubts.
Ford says 1Q fix coming for hybrids deep sleep mode and dying batteries. Have you heard anything? Mine goes in sleep mode if I don't drive for three days. Voltmeter shows battery voltage is continually showing only 11.7 volts before start up.
@@craigcraigster5605 when my 23 Mav hybrid was doing this, I took it to the dealer. They tested the battery and determined it was faulty and replaced it. Then a couple months later that battery was also defective. It's been 2 more months since then and no issues so far. I'm hoping the software update will resolve the issue. It seems like either my truck is just killing batteries or I just have bad luck. I went almost 1.5 years driving on the first battery without any issues.
This is a different recall from the deep sleep issue in hybrids? I got my 24 Lariat back in mid Nov and I hope they fix this problem before I have it. I have heard there is supposed to be a software fix for it coming soon. I guess that will be a recall too?
One clue that this recall is only for 2022 EcoBoost Mavericks is the mention of enhance flooded 48H6 batteries. Hybrids don't use 48H6 batteries. They use a tiny 99RT4 battery that's under the rear seat and not under hood like an EcoBoost.
Hi Tim if your getting a fleet vehicle how do you know when your vehicle is being built. I have a confirmation saying the order was accepted my the dealer on December 20, 2024. It is a 2025 Hybrid AWD Maverick. Other than waiting for the fleet company to update when the vehicle is built. Do you think it has been scheduled? Also how long does it normally take to build and ship. I’m in the NJ area thank you
Tim it is me again, I just entered my VIN to the address you had on screen and it came up NO RECALLS. As you know I have a trickle charger on my First Edition and have had it on for a long time. I also have a battery monitor on it and if I take the charger off it for a day and a half or so the monitor says the battery is down below 50% State of Charge. I was hoping this recall would be a fix. I'll text my Ford mechanic and see if he has the update too. I'll see you tomorrow night!
Thanks, Tim. I appreciate the Maverick Monday videos. Keep up the great work.
2022 Hybrid here on my 4th battery. Disappointed this is not for my vehicle. About to go to another brand…
Wait what!!! My 2022 is constantly going into sleep mode everyday

We got two tremors getting built now! Kind of excited to get them!
I finally took delivery of my 2025 Maverick Tremor here in Columbus Ohio!

I do hope this recall includes the hybrids. I would assume any batteries with the EFB by Camel should be replaced.

Can you make a maverick Monday video using the wireless android auto and the wireless apple app. Thanks
Any updates on Lobo production? Have they even started yet?
@@TeamSchubel 2/3. I talked about that in a video in this video series. Episode 46.

Hello Tim thanks for your blog, we have a hybrid with all wheel drive ordered, can you explain what we will face if Tariffs go in effect in Feb.
We have no clue which is why Ford isn't commenting on the Tariff talks.
I checked the NHTSA website, and my '23 EcoBoost Lariat has no open recalls.
Just so you know, I have a 2023 EB AWD Maverick XLT that was manufactured in early December 2022. The recall doesn't appear in the list of recalls.
Amen on the click bait -like to freak people out

Fleets are in the ordering system along with retail orders. So the dealer they are order from can look that information up.
are the 2025 hybrids having the same deep sleep / battery saver mode issues?
Not that I have heard. I have seen that the hybrid 12V battery is an AGM.

I own a 24 Hybrid, after 2 months from purchase my battery went out and was replaced.
Go Ford
