A beautiful blue sky, snow on the ground, people going sledding, and the winter scenery of Switzerland. What more could you need or want? Thanks for showing me a part of the world that I will never see in real life.
This was fun! I also noticed the sledders in the snow below the Albulaviadukt II.

Brilliant ride in wonderful snowy scenery with skiers gliding by down the slopes.
Breath taking. No words to describe! But all the beauty goes by so fast! Any chance of using a 360 degree movie camera, in the future?

@@lorirocks777 My only concern: The quality of a 360 camera MAY not be quite as good as the one you used. However, the analysis of several of the good ones (300-400$Us) seems to point to fairly good quality pictures. The other problem might be in the storage time available on those cameras. BUT if both those issues can be worked..CAN YOU IMAGINE...the benefits?
On the return from Preda the mountains looked so majestic - made me wish that I was there!

The view down the valleys with those crystal clear skies is awesome. Particularly interesting at 13:00, where you go over the viaduct we approached from below a bit earlier
this is one of the reasons why this line together with the Berninaline have been chosen as a Unesco World Heritage!

@@dellacapaolo Hallo Paolo - danke für die Antwort - ich liebe eben alles, was mit der RhB zu tun hat - wohl weil ich meine kaufm. Lehre (1965-68) in Chur bei der RhB gemacht habe. Dann hatte ich 1969 einen unbeschränkten Bahnbegehungsausweis und konnte einige Strecken auf den Geleisen "abwandern" (Chur-Arosa-Chur/Preda-Thusis/Disentis-Reichenau und Samedan-Scuol) - das waren noch Zeiten! Ich freue mich auf Dein nächsten RhB-Video - Gruss Remo

Quite a number of non-steel tracks along the right-of-way between Bergun and Val Tisch Viaduct, hope everyone/everything remained safe. One suggestion if I may, Paolo: next time out, take the train up to Preda and take a sled back down to Bergun! Thanks for the ride.
What do you mean with "non-steel-tracks"?? I'm a train driver and not a sledder driver ;). There are a lot of movies taken by sledders with cameras from Preda to Bergün. Not so many can film a cab ride in the train.
@@dellacapaolo There appear to be a number of two-legged and/or four-legged creatures using the railway's right-of-way as a path given the number of prints seen in the snow. Thanks for the tip about sledders posting videos, I'll take a look.
@@michaela.chmieloski3196 ahh got it. Two legged are employes of the railway who control the track every week. Four leg are mostly deers.

Thanks for the ride. I love the shining steel trail on white snow. It is somehow aesthetically pleasing. Then when the train was in tunnel, it was scary with all those sound...kinda like in horror movie.

That was quick. On the down hill after the top road bridge does the train 'free wheel' under gravity with regen braking as required or is it powered all the way. Sense of speed was impressive.

A lovely journey through the mountains to Preda and back down to Bergun. What about a ride on this very same route in the Autumn season? At that time all the leaves will shed their colours and therefore it must be beautiful here at that time of the year.
Of course it will be done next autumn. Check the Bernina cab ride. There are the colours that you are looking for!

A mix of an Fz1000, Rx100, GoPro 7 & 8. I use both iMovie and Final Cut Pro.. The colour grading isn't that consistant across my video, but I do my best.

Is that the “luge shuttle” train, where they sell day pass that is only good in one direction (you have to do downwards by yourself)???
I walked from Preda to Bergün in May 1992… Sometimes, in the curves of the road, you saw the debris from luges who did not take the curves…
