We watched the Documentary Hillbilly. This song was at the end. I play Bluegrass but have never heard it before. This trio does such a great job on the song. At Lincoln New Salem in Petersburg Illinois, we played this song and it was the only one that got a verbal compliment. I even reached out to Ashley York about her choice of songs. I heard a version of this on a short film(1970, THE MOUNTAIN PEOPLE, SOUTHERN APPALACHIA) here on RUclips. it was called 'LIve and learn jubilee'. Witch bring me to a version my grandmother used to sing to me as a small child. The Tune must have been a staple.. Ill recognize it anywhere..
