The dogger heel definitely suits this style boot so I'll change my order from the logger I specified. Keep up the long format videos, we have similar tastes and I've watched all your vids multiple times for your observations.

I’m glad I did but I also don’t think I’d regret getting the toscanello either haha. Totally agree on the heel, I think out of the Indonesian makers that Benzein does one of the best logger heels but I just felt with the silhouette of this boot that the western dogger would suit it more. Really glad I did it’s one of the details that make or break a good makeup in my opinion. Please do share some photos with me of your boots when they are finished! I’ll keep with this new format for sure, also I have to do a large update video on a lot of my pairs. Thanks again for the views my friend.
Just ordered a pair thanks to your review! :) Regarding sizing, did you go with Adi's suggestions based on your measurements, or did you size up? Respectively what size do you wear in other boots, like Red Wings or similar? Any info appreciated, thanks!
Dude I can’t believe the patina in just a month, that is some GOOD INDIGO crocking!!! It’s beyond me why anyone would ever want to remove indigo stains from their boots!!!!
Being able to customize them though and Indonesian maker combined with the more appealing and less pointed lasts you typically see on them made me re think it as well.
Really nice looking side zip. That cxl roughout looks thick and durable. I'm really hearing a lot of good things from Benzein. How did you size for these boots? Would you say it's like a Chelsea boot regarding fit?
They will be extremely durable boots I have no doubt about that, Benzein is great all around I like what they do. I sized these are 44 and it’s good for my 11 length and my 10.5 length feet, both of which are 10.5 heel to ball. I think they are a little less forgiving if you don’t have a normal instep because there’s no elastic gore holding pressure. Adi is very easy to get ahold of on Instagram and by now he has enough data to size these pretty reliably

That last looks fantastic, makes me even more pumped for my Keepers in a few months. Trying to sell my wife on a pair of side zips. Any chance you could comment on how the instep feels? She has a very high instep, so not sure if we'd have to play around with a different last. May have missed it in the video, but how long was the wait for you?
Hopefully you got them in Kapak last! I waited 4 months exactly for these. I would say it has a generous instep, I think as long as you get a chrome tanned leather like cxl or maybe even a kudu it should be great. The instep can always be stretched a little. Just don’t get veg tan or horse butt as those won’t stretch for you.

I’m sure Benzein could do it, they do a really nice whole cut Chelsea so I don’t see why they couldn’t do a whole cut side zip.
