I tried doing a run on pro and I got to the castle without dying somehow, but stupidly I shot Ashley, and even stupider, I didn’t save, so all that progress, yeah that was just gone!
Heya love the content, you may have figured out something more effective by now but during the mendez fight I used ladders while he threw stuff to give I-frames during the initial climbing animation and it helped a lot with avoiding the tricky throws he does. Thanks for the upload and it's amazing as always!
I'm mashing through the game on professional rn on my 4th playthrough (one on each difficulty so far, played it on assisted to go fast as possible and get infinite rocket launcher) which i'm now using on my pro run NG+ to get an A and unlock the chicago sweeper. Really fun game and a lot of replayability
On assisted if you save up your arcade coins until the end and try to get the rhinoceros beetle, then when u get to the saddler fight sell everything you have except a rpg to one shot him, and spend all your money on first aid sprays. When you start a new play through on pro you can sell the first aid sprays for 10k instead of the 3k you spent for them on assisted
I was going to try to do a quick professional run on my 2nd play through ever. But I quickly realized at water hall that I was going to be humbled by whatever demon hellspawn on the dev team thought it was okay to put Novis into double Garrador into Verdugo with a save right b4 Novis. Okay Verdugo isn’t that bad actually I just felt like complaining.
I have mad respect for Krauser in this version. Even when he abandoned his humanity, allowed himself to become a monster, he still sought to train Leon at the last moments, being honorable to the end.
The delago boss is such a weird fight, I've tried counting how many harpoons it takes and my number on professional seems to be different than others that I've read on game faqs. Some people have theorized that he heals whenever he dives, And I'm starting to think that might be the case
Professional is super hard until you realise you can skip almost all of the enemies through dumb look and sheer determination. I haven't attempted S+ on pro yet but hardcore was already a challenge that put my skills (or lack there of) to the test!
I'm doing now the second run on professional for practicing for my S+ run, really funny and also I'm not getting bored like usual with the second playthrough. My biggest problems it's the max 15 save where I need to choose if save only at the start of the chapter or save before a boss and not save the whole chapter after, also the use a whole new save and not a NG+ save doesn't help. Luckily there's so many glitch for skip entire part or the funny Salazar and village fight Easter egg that helps a lot. I'm not gonna say what glitch or Easter egg for not spoil people who doesn't want to know
just throwing this out there but for anyone that thinks crows are not worth it kill them cause doing my run to unlock handcannon i got lucky with the first 2 crows in the game with both of them dropping a ruby
Hey uhTrance, I was wondering where to get the re4 reframework that you showed on one of your streams. I don't wanna just go around and download random stuff. If you can provide a link or site name that would be much appreciated.
Hey uhTrance, probably a bit of a random question, but could you please tell me what's the font used for the Twitch chat in this video? Thank you very much.
It's so funny that there's always someone in chat who can't stop talking like they know everything about the remake despite never actually having bought and played it
It’s pretty unbalanced since you can get staggered so much and stunlocked in an animation and enemies can just land consistent blows pretty much take all your health. Even the grabs are absolutely ridiculous.
This difficulty of the remake version made my sanity drained by endless mob beatings ,high damage, being combo'ed by enemies and very expensive costs As our goal was to unlock cat ears since I want infinite ammo, it took us days to master it, but with planned usage of typewriter location since it's only 15 for s+ , the good thing is I always use Armored Ashley and with availability of bonus weapon with infinite ammo, even with Chicago Sweeper, I got mobbed out , the painful part was village because of Dr Salvador, Bella Sisters, Del Lago, El Gigante, Benny the Bull, Savage Mutt, and lastly Bitores Mendez, died a couple of times and being sent back to a very far away typewriter I saved which led me to use skip glitches to cut time. in castle, Novistadors, Garradors The Mine cart ride, Krauser and Salazar were the pain in the butt, and island. Soldiers and Regenerators were time consuming. As a Obsessive compulsive who wants the task done before doing my job, I wanted to finish it so It took me and my brother to finish the difficulty under 5 hours and 33 minutes with use of Chicago Sweeper. After unlocking the ears I've developed extreme migraines and muscle pains. Never gonna repeat the playthrough again
It's not even difficult, is the problem. It's fake difficulty, by giving the Ganados endless buffs (including, but not limited to extra health, damage, mobility, stealth, and attacks), while nerfing Leon by removing the headshot stagger. This game is fucking garbage.
@@TheDapperDragon While I think you've got solid points, the game is not garbage, though it might feel that way when you get frustrated! It's good fun on a casual playthrough, it's only when you're trying more challenging things where the rng disguised as 'difficulty' makes it feel like an unfinished product. And the parrying, stealth attacks that sometimes slash instead, gunshots that land outside of the crosshair blooms, etc.... I feel you 😂 Voices are hit and miss too!
Re4 remake isn't hard, the only hard part was Ashley's part, also in the beginning in the village, the more you kill the lest time they have to kill you

@@gvido2923 Why would I do that though? Challenging yourself only makes sense when the game is good enough to support the challenge. RE4R already breaks on Pro, let alone on something that pushes the mechanics even further.
@@TheFallenSithMaster Bruh, they are the same thing, just a small damage difference. You can't say professional is easier because it is objectively harder. The numbers are there.
There are things in this game I absolutely despise. Bloom is such a shit mechanic to have in any shooter. It makes the shooting range extremely frustrating. The item drops in this game are also extremely lacking. The added crafting feature doesn't help either because on difficulties higher than standard, everything is a bullet sponge. It's such bad design, it's to make the game feel harder. I absolutely hate when games make shit intentionally scarce to accomplish this. The game isn't hard, you're just always lacking items. There isn't anything you can do about it, the game is literally playing against you.The crafting feature doesn't help as gunpowder is scarce as well. What's the point of adding a crafting feature then making the ingredients just as hard to come by? The knife durability is stupid too, it's just there to get you to spend pesetas on it. Overall, the original is much better. This game's tone is fantastic along with the music, presentation is definitely its strong suit. As for the shooting and looting mechanics, it's dogshit. The voice acting is pretty meh too. Ada especially. I ain't knocking the actor, but her voice just doesn't fit her at all. While we're on this topic, jesus christ, the repetitive nature of Leon talking in-game drove me insane after a while. The same voice lines over and over again for hours. Ugh. Not a fan of the movement either, feels so clunky. I know some people like it, but RE2/3 has much better movement imo. Lastly, the removal of QTEs, not a fan. There are a lot of parts where Leon does cool shit during a QTE that just don't exist. Examples, when he throws his knife through Ramon's hand, when his leg gets tied up on the boat, when he falls down the pit and uses his little gadget to catch himself, the ENTIRE Krauser cutscene. I will say, I don't miss the running from boulders. I hated that. Game is a 6/10. I'll prolly play pro difficulty, get the achievements and be done with it. Unless the mercs mode is godlike, I won't be returning to the game afterward.
@@imarockhaha Bloom and skill don't go together. It has nothing to do with nostalgia, it's a bad mechanic. You can't "get good" at bloom. It's RnG ya moron.

That's the one thing I hate a lot about the remake, I'd rather Ashley had a health bar like the OG version.
In the original Ashley would also die instantly if shot by leon
