What if a applicant has friends/family residing in iran already and would like them to accompany him/her on the trip. would they still have to submit their application through a tour?

I am a UK citizen traveling overland from Cambodia back to the Uk. I am planning on traveling through Pakistan into Iran and exit into Turkey. Assuming the process will take about 3 months, can i start the application process and then complete the process in Pakistan? I do not have a fixed address and sending my passport is not an option as that would mean i would be without a passport whilst in another country. What would be my best option? I also read that in Iran there is a restriction in place for motorcycles entering if they are over 250cc although many people have and are entering on larger motorcycles. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Based on the rules and regulations, the British Passport holders traveling to Iran must be part of an organized tour and a certified tour guide must accompany them during the whole trip. The visa process for British passport holders might take up to 30-40 working days. After this time, you can collect your visa at any Iranian embassies in Pakistan. What I can do for you is to send a tour guide to the border to receive and escort you and then accompany you to the next border. You need hotels and a trip itinerary with the fixed dates which I can prepare and arrange them for you and I will take care of your visa application process and everything. I will prepare a tour package (guide+visa+accommodation) based on your needs and your budget. I'm afraid that I don't have information about the motorcycles and the required permissions. The system won’t allow usa people to apply: my application keeps saying my photo of passport is not sane as personal photo. It is same but system is broke
It is not true. My American tourists are arriving in Iran next week. The problem that you mentioned can happen for any person regardless of his/her nationality. In order to solve the problem, you should use a personal photo similar to your passport photo. If still it did not work, your travel agent should use some photoshop in the color of the personal photo in order to fix it.
@@come2persia279 The new usa passports have a background of usa flag in the photo and I am using same photo in passport but the system keeps saying it’s not same photo. I go to india and pakistan and hoping they can issue a tourist visa but probably can not if the system doesn’t help me
@@frawldog If your travel agent uses the photoshop with two or three different personal photos, then I'm sure your problem will be solved. Another thing which makes a problem is that if one photo has got a beard and another one does not have beard, then it can be also the source of the problem. The same thing goes for other differences in the appearance change.

Yes and I don't think there is any other ways to travel to Iran for Canadian passport holders.
