This old American loves Persian culture and is attracted to the Zoroastrian faith. I refer often to Mary Boyce's book Zoroastrians: Their Religious Beliefs and Practices. I would so love to visit Yazd and see this temple. But, I fear that being American would hinder that. Mind you, I frankly despise what my government has been doing and I would like to immigrate elsewhere. Until then, I enjoy videos like this and the many books that I read and refer to. I am a UK citizen traveling overland from Cambodia back to the Uk. I am planning on traveling through Pakistan into Iran and exit into Turkey. Assuming the process will take about 3 months, can i start the application process and then complete the process in Pakistan? I do not have a fixed address and sending my passport is not an option as that would mean i would be without a passport whilst in another country. What would be my best option? I also read that in Iran there is a restriction in place for motorcycles entering if they are over 250cc although many people have and are entering on larger motorcycles. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.
