My parents got scammed over the summer. My mom is a retired nurse, and my dad a veteran. They felt completely embarrassed that they fell for these scams, and its a feeling they have never shook. These people can justify stealing this money however they want; but it takes a dark-hearted person and lowlife to steal from the elderly. You are doing great work my friend. Keep it up.

Most times in Kulkata and India, the police are very corrupt. If you watch a lot of videos from Jim Browning and I think Kitboga did one, it showed that Police are actually very much in the scammers pocket and it'll just be a few thousand thrown at them and they'll turn a blind eye and a deaf ear.
I'm sure in the US there are masses of cybercrime teams as we do in the UK. Sadly due to the dark web & crimes against children etc they are tied up & there isn't the money or resources to catch these vile people. As quick as they find & close a scam down another opens up. It's a vicious circle. The Scammer Payback team & other scam baiters are fantastic in interrupting their work & spreading the word...thankfully xx

Sometimes their accents are just so thick that I waste half my time asking them to repeat themselves, just to try to understand them. It is a joke that we have to deal with them for any customer service. I always ask to be transferred to a US representative.
So, you do realize that they still steal from you in the form of taxes to pay for the FBI and you have to also do this work yourself. Not sure how you find that epic, it's a worse scam than what the Indian call centers do.
I always thought I was the most wary guy around. Somehow a scammer got me to buy 2 $500 Best Buys (total $1000.) Thankfully when I got home my son was there for a visit. He covinced me it was a scam by showing me Pierogi vids. Instant fan. BTW his Bday is Sept 29th. I handed him the cards and said happy birthday to put towards the sound system in your new truck.

I work for a cell phone company and I deal with a lot of older or undereducated folks on a daily basis and I truly do see how vulnerable they are to some of these attacks and I think you are doing that group of folks a huge service. This is amazing work. I am from Kolkata & I cringe thinking that someone outside India has to become the vigilante & pull the curtains on all these scams. In hindsight, the problem is very deep rooted. Call center scams are rampant in India. More so domestically.
Just recently started watching you on RUclips and have to say Ur da bomb! I'm hooked on your channel now and have been glued to it for the last several days and have gotten several friends hooked on it too. So glad to see that you're doing this because I get about 40 calls a day from scammers and it's disgusting. Sometimes I cuss them out and hang up and sometimes I play along with the gag and waste their time but I never let them get on my computer. Keep up the great work.

I used to work for a government agency in Australia and would receive calls from people who had been ripped off by scammers pretending to be us. Some of the people who called us just wouldn't believe that they had been lied to no matter what I said - it was like trying to convince a flat earther. But others would just break down when I told them and be in tears because they had been robbed of HUGE amounts of money sometimes. It would nearly leave me in tears. Thank you so much for your work and massive kudos to you.
Sadly not enough is being done in Australia to protect ordinary citizens from these grubby scammers. It’s well beyond being the time where a govt dept is set up to investigate these crimes & work closing these grubs down. It looks like our leaders are still asleep at the wheel 🤦♂️
here in germany , years ago we had scam rings actually meeting with their soon to be victims in person by inviting them all to a lunch. nothing but elderly people all in their 60s and older. thy would eat lunch and have coffee together, then procede to be scammed for ridiculous amount in life savings

Without them, I would not have known any of this was going on. I live like a hermit because of medical issues. It is difficult to be online, and worse to be on the phone. I first saw "Scammer payback" about 2 years ago. I was astounded. People from foreign countries are scamming Americans over the phone, and on their computers? I'm so grateful to all of the people in the Scambaiting community who go after these evil scammers.

@@jacksont9455 yeah, well those folks are usually vulnerable people, like my sister in law who has MS. We knew she had MS, but no one knew she developed brain lesions until her husband realized she had lost thousands of dollars to scammers. The first time, people thought she just got suckered, and that it was a fluke. The second time though, REALLY turned her life upside down. Her husband almost left her, until the medical issue was discovered. Then, she lost all control of her finances and legal rights to make her own decisions. It was devastating to watch. So, not all people who do that are stupid (in fact, I would say A) that's only a tiny percentage and B) that's also a medical condition. Sad regardless 😞

Haven't had to learn the hard way yet. Still, scammers are plenty sophisticated and it's only been luck, internet research and a little scepticism that helped. You folks are doing such good work. That was, brilliant! Thank you for your hard work because some of those scammers have tried to scam me and a few I know as well. One that I know of almost got scammed by someone similar that said he was from the IRS and I warned her that the government will write you a formal letter instead of calling you about owing them anything. She took the warning seriously and called him on his bluff. He never called again.

Just recently started watching you on RUclips and have to say Ur da bomb! I'm hooked on your channel now and have been glued to it for the last several days and have gotten several friends hooked on it too. So glad to see that you're doing this because I get about 40 calls a day from scammers and it's disgusting. Sometimes I cuss them out and hang up and sometimes I play along with the gag and waste their time but I never let them get on my computer. Keep up the great work.

I used to work for a government agency in Australia and would receive calls from people who had been ripped off by scammers pretending to be us. Some of the people who called us just wouldn't believe that they had been lied to no matter what I said - it was like trying to convince a flat earther. But others would just break down when I told them and be in tears because they had been robbed of HUGE amounts of money sometimes. It would nearly leave me in tears.

Sadly not enough is being done in Australia to protect ordinary citizens from these grubby scammers. It’s well beyond being the time where a govt dept is set up to investigate these crimes & work closing these grubs down. It looks like our leaders are still asleep at the wheel 🤦♂️
here in germany , years ago we had scam rings actually meeting with their soon to be victims in person by inviting them all to a lunch. nothing but elderly people all in their 60s and older. thy would eat lunch and have coffee together, then procede to be scammed for ridiculous amount in life savings

Without them, I would not have known any of this was going on. I live like a hermit because of medical issues. It is difficult to be online, and worse to be on the phone. I first saw "Scammer payback" about 2 years ago. I was astounded. People from foreign countries are scamming Americans over the phone, and on their computers? I'm so grateful to all of the people in the Scambaiting community who go after these evil scammers.

@@jacksont9455 yeah, well those folks are usually vulnerable people, like my sister in law who has MS. We knew she had MS, but no one knew she developed brain lesions until her husband realized she had lost thousands of dollars to scammers. The first time, people thought she just got suckered, and that it was a fluke. The second time though, REALLY turned her life upside down. Her husband almost left her, until the medical issue was discovered. Then, she lost all control of her finances and legal rights to make her own decisions. It was devastating to watch. So, not all people who do that are stupid (in fact, I would say A) that's only a tiny percentage and B) that's also a medical condition. Sad regardless 😞
A better usage of the moles time would be leaving a grenade or something in the boss's office.

How your channel and reach have grown! Came across your videos in my feed and have been watching for a while. I'm in the target age range for scammers and approached by them many times. Haven't had to learn the hard way yet. Still, scammers are plenty sophisticated and it's only been luck, internet research and a little scepticism that helped. You folks are doing such good work. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and on behalf of friends. That outro music is ridiculously addictive! And... BOOM, scammer!

I got scammed and made a police report which was tough when the officer is laughing and telling me it’s almost impossible to catch these people.

I love laughing at these fools, but seeing a criminal get scared and understand that his scam will fall apart, that gives me hope. These people used to go after my mother and are still tormenting her friend, I'm so thankful someone is out there taking them to task. Thank you for making us laugh but also fighting to make the world a safer, kinder place.

That was, brilliant! Thank you for your hard work because some of those scammers have tried to scam me and a few I know as well. One that I know of almost got scammed by someone similar that said he was from the IRS and I warned her that the government will write you a formal letter instead of calling you about owing them anything. She took the warning seriously and called him on his bluff.
He never called again.

Holy crap, this is the best scammer video I've seen and it didn't even feature a refund scam!! It's great to see you've been collecting information on these scammers and not just messin' with them, (which is entertaining and a complete waste of their time) but more importantly, you're getting some solid intel on these criminals!!!! I'm subbing, I want to see where this goes!
