Yes, I understand that -- but it is the nonstick coating that will get all clogged up with that kind of spray and then the nonstick coating will flake off of your fry pan or basket and then it will no longer be nonstick. Plus, those particles rub off onto your fries that you are then eating. If you read your owner's manual, you'll see what I am saying. There are like a gazillion videos on using air fryers and they all say to NOT use oil in can spray like Pam.
I have had my Ninja Foodi for 2 years and it’s fine no coating has come off. I guess it’s according to what air fryer you use. Thanks for the information.
It would be nice to see how a larger batch would come out. That little bit was not worth the power to cook them. I would have to make 3 batches just to get a good plate of fries.
@@CookingWithTK79 can you explain more thoroughly please? People keep asking you the same question and you just give a vague response. So you just soak them first?
No you do not boil the potatoes first. All you do is cut your potatoes like fries, place them in water so they don’t turn brown. When you are ready to season the potatoes to cook poor all the water off. Then season the potatoes. Put just a mist of oil on your fries then cook them under your tender crisp lid. Yes you can make a larger batch than I did in the Ninja foodi however it will take between 15 and 20 minutes for them to cook. Please check the fries to toss them around after the first 8 minutes. Check at least twice during the cooking process so as not to over cook fries.
@@CookingWithTK79 Oh wow thanks so much. Sadly, I went into the kitchen tho, and realized my patatoes went bad 😅😂dayum. Better luck next time. Very helpful vid tho, precieate it
Thank you for sharing. I'm trying to loose weight so i was talking to my boyfriend about me getting me one air fryer. He's such a darling he bought it for me & give it for valentine's day. I'm not complaining. 🥰💋
if you want fried food, go to a fast food joint because you cant beat the taste or crispiness. if you want to cook at Home, you should eat steamed or boiled food. Not only will it boost your energy, it also keeps all that nurturance you lose due to your dry food habits. I know this machine has a boiling and steaming mode but Its 4 times the price
Those fries look delicious. Thank you for the recipe.
Thank you
Thank you for this. I was wondering if the Ninja Tender Crisp function was the same as an Air Fryer? Thank you
You are so welcome
Did you state the temperature? I'm not finding it, thanks!

Are the instructions the same if I were to leave the skin on?

You can make large batches. I do it all the time. The fries turn out wonderful. When you make a larger batch you just have to turn them at least once.
@@CookingWithTK79 can you simply shake them instead of flipping them?
What temp did you fry them?
Cook them at 375
I love fries I need to make my own

got my foodi today, so excited. thx for the video!
You are going to fall in love with your Ninja Foodi. It’s like having a best friend in the kitchen.
Good looking out awnt
Thank you
If you use oil in a can (like Pam) it will cause the nonstick coating to flake off. I'd get yourself an oil spritzer (which saves $$ too).
My fries always turn out just fine using pam in the can.
He's full of it, keep using your pam.
Right
I love fries 🍟 cooked in the ninja Foodi.
Pre heat it at what temp ?

I have never cooked a large amount of fries you can cook up to 2lbs per the ninja foodi manual but I will try for a video.
