Good match. Hats off to Hall there around the 2:45 Mark. He knows its a potentially dangerous position they just sorta ended up in after a scramble so instead of trying to crank on the arm he just holds it till the ref stops. A lot of sportsmanship there protecting his opponent.

Up two weight classes and ....MAN! What an intelligent wrestler Kemerer is ...bracing that knee against better penetration, et. al. When he turned into the cross face I thought he'd get caked but a reversal came instead. Great take down near the end and the air twist and a frog out on that ankle pick...so smart.

Hall, all the talent and credentials in the world but lacks something a little more important. Heart. ❤️

no points because it was continuous movement. He got put to his back but continued to roll through it. He was never really kept on his back.

They both looked a little gassed, which is weird being number 1 & 3 ranked. Than again lord only knows what they were doing the night before.

Why is everyone making excuses for Hall based on his weight. He's a d1 athlete from a well off family in a well off program. He could bulk up to 197 if he wanted too. He's not malnutritioned. If he's small, that's his choice

The word you’re looking for is malnourished

That match essentially decided the dual meet. Good one for Iowa. But let's not forget that Penn State had 3 starters out with injuries. It's one of those years for them.

The University of Iowa is the Mecca of college wrestling. If you just plain love wrestling, you have to make the pilgrimage to Iowa City, Iowa for a dual meet.

Great match for Kemerer although I don’t think he’ll bet Hall again. Hall blew his load looking for the fall early. Just get the W. Win the dual by winning the matches you’re supposed to win

Called this lol, if Hall can’t redeem the first take down he is done every single time. He can go down 2-1 but if he doesn’t bulldoze you or isn’t able to pull of his quick takedowns he’s toast.

The ref with glasses blew two pin calls for Lee and Cenzo. Also clearly influenced by the crowd on stalling. Does anyone know what happened with Desanto?
