Good match. Hats off to Hall there around the 2:45 Mark. He knows its a potentially dangerous position they just sorta ended up in after a scramble so instead of trying to crank on the arm he just holds it till the ref stops. A lot of sportsmanship there protecting his opponent.

Up two weight classes and ....MAN! What an intelligent wrestler Kemerer is ...bracing that knee against better penetration, et. al. When he turned into the cross face I thought he'd get caked but a reversal came instead. Great take down near the end and the air twist and a frog out on that ankle pick...so smart.
I thought he'd win but he outright dominated! I also thought Iowa would win by 7-11 points but what a squeaker it was.

They both looked a little gassed, which is weird being number 1 & 3 ranked. Than again lord only knows what they were doing the night before.

Called this lol, if Hall can’t redeem the first take down he is done every single time. He can go down 2-1 but if he doesn’t bulldoze you or isn’t able to pull of his quick takedowns he’s toast.

Victor Pistone I have, I actually wrestled for Pitt about 10 years ago and my name isn’t my username. I wrestled 165 fresh and soph and went to 174 jr sr.
Yep been there done that, thanks for the input, I’ll take my input as I’ve cut big D1 weight and wrestled with the best.
      Thanks!

Great match for Kemerer although I don’t think he’ll bet Hall again. Hall blew his load looking for the fall early. Just get the W. Win the dual by winning the matches you’re supposed to win
