Gilman rocking with the Matflexes his entire college career is the biggest flex.
I can’t stand the importance kids put into wearing expensive shoes in wrestling. Ive witnessed so much bullying in mat rooms because kids are wearing matflexes or any other cheap pair of shoes. It’s honestly sad and I’ve even given shoes or bought shoes for kids before because of this.

Suriano lost matches during high school. Just none that counted against his 159-0 record. Everyone says this loss was why Suriano quit Penn State. He quit the super 32 after he lost, quit Cael Sanderson after he lost, quit the Olympic trials after he lost to Tomasello - he wouldn't even wrestle his consolation matches, then he quit Rutgers and went to Michigan... I really wish he could have been coached at Penn State - he could have had 3 NCAA championships!

Very fluid snaps slide by attempts elbow passes and punching of the underhooks. Mixes it up well like the Mongolians do

I think they both stalled throughout the match. Resorted to hand fighting instead of wrestling. These sort of wrestlers don't get far on the international stage.
