The paper sounds silky! :) It's always fun to see other people's sketchbooks. One thing I like to do at the beginning of a sketchbook is make notes about what I aim to improve on, so I try to make sure I do focused studies. Sometimes it's line weight, sometimes it's basic shapes, and sometimes it's observational studies. Your sticker collection is also neat! :)

so lovely to see your progress as the sketchbook went on! I'm also a photographer wanting to expand my skills. I took art classes my whole life so I have the knowledge but never bothered to develop much of the skill but I really want to change that this year. it's been feeling really overwhelming so I haven't actually started but seeing how much you grew just in the span of a few months was really inspiring, thank you so much for sharing!
Ohh thank you ☺️ yes it’s all about practice. Just grab a random sketchbook and start making things, anything, even if you don’t think it looks good. Over time you’ll get better, find the things you like to draw, and it’s fun to flip back through the progression.
