What’s crazy about this whole thing is, Brenda got exactly what she wanted. It didn’t matter if she would’ve got caught, she knew this was messy. She knew it wasn’t organized right she didn’t care as long as Kendra died and Ricky didn’t have Kendra she was satisfied. That’s how she was so calm in that interrogation room.

Her defense attorney (a terrible one, IMO) came across too angry. Big mistake in a murder trial, especially when you're trying to gain sympathy for your client.

It's the "pound the table" defense. Tough spot when your client has done everything short of a full-blown confession.

There’s a saying among criminal lawyers. When the law is against you, you pound the facts. When the facts are against you, you pound the law. When both are against you, you pound the table. Which is what Brenda’s defence lawyer did, and it blew up in his face.

In Dillan's case, it is REALLY upsetting that with as old as he was, he could not choose to not go to a parent's house if he was uncomfortable with it. What's even more upsetting is that had he lived through that Thanksgiving week, he may not have gotten to see his grandmother again---all because he was FORCED away from her by a ridiculous court order. The courts are ridiculous when it comes to this stuff. That boy was old enough to choose who he wanted to be with and whether he wanted to stay with one parent or the other for whatever reason.

Without seeing the whole testimony of the Forensic Anth, the problem I have with animal teeth damage is that if he died up there in Novemeber, by the time Spring thaw came around, the damage would have shown as post-mortem, whereas the blunt trauma would have shown clearly as peri-mortem, even after exposure to the elements.

This definitely was not a love triangle. You have the psycho ex girlfriend who couldn't move on & was insanely jealous that he had found someone he was truly happy with & in love. To think... her beautiful life was only worth a measly $500 bucks & some empty promises of drugs never received by those two degenerates who fatally harmed her bc of the monster who was behind every bit of it. May Kendra Hatcher rest in peace. My heart goes out to her mother, bless her.
