    Why couldn't he take that $200,000 and buy a nice little condo and invite her to come stay with him? I'll tell you why I think he didn't. That would have forced him to confront the reality that he, deep inside, knew: this webcam girl didn't really want to be with him. Instead of manning up and stopping himself from being used, he took out his frustration on his family who were challenging his foolishness.

      Exactly. There is 1000's of videos on RUclips who shows the same type of content. The absurd part of it is, these are A&E TV episodes of the series Killer Cases and the show is rated PG14. So these clowns edit out scenes for no reason while they make money on RUclips showing you an edited PG14 TV episode.

    Tyronne Hassel is an exceptional man to meet with his son's killer, and how he handled that. I think if someone did that to my son, I would have gone ballistic. I feel so much compassion for him.

    I had a job at 16 and been working ever since. I’m 37 now. My oldest daughter is 15 and has started a Friday and Saturday evening job just because she wanted to have one. Crazy how people won’t work if able to.

    I don't get why they didn't tell him to get a job. My dad made me get up and go on job interviews. I had to have a job within a month. When I graduated university I had four months from getting my job to get my own apartment. My sister the same. Dad and mom when we were in grade school bought us our beds, dressers and desks with the understanding they went with when we moved out.

      Yeah you heard it right, that was the problem him being able to stayed at home rent free, basically no expenses monthly contributed to this whole thing.       but they're allowed to do that, it's the lawyer trying to play moral police, 'your client violently murdered his family', 'police, did you *gag* did you...LIE!! to him? Did you tell LIES to a murder suspect??' they're allowed to lie the evidence they have is better than it is, that the accomplice gave you up, that they have evidence showing you're lying when you're not & they've just not done the work yet... he wasn't a minor, or mentally vulnerable/special needs/low iq... i think lying to him is fine.

      Defense attorneys have a valuable role to play in our system. I don't think in a case like this they thought he had any chance of getting off but at least he had a fair trial.

    In the Paramount+ documentary on this case, Grant Amato admits he did it but ALSO blames his brother (not for the murder) and considers him a traitor for testifying against him.
    Finding out he was the ONLY person willing to stand up and say anything kind about him is such a testament to his integrity and character.

    So in the end it looks like Jason helped save his brother's life, but had he been there at the house, Grant would have killed him too. He was a very cold person. But so was his "girl friend." So it was perhaps fitting the two found each other (as long as the money was flowing anyway). The whole thing is just so sad.
