Great to hear that you'll be visiting Thailand. This biryani can be found in Bangkok (like this restaurant), but it's more common in southern Thailand - often it's considered a Muslim dish in Thailand. Thank you for watching!
Love it when you taste and then smile. As a Thai people, I have to thank you very much for promoting Thai foods to let the world know our street food is very delicious :D
Yah, I think you're right, a lot of similarities, and much of the food in this video originates in southern Thailand, closer to Malaysia. Such an amazing genre of cuisine!
Thai Biryani is the best . I love the Khao Mok Gai....Spring Roll & Beef Satay..Thai Food is the best...Thank You for sharing this place...So, we Muslim can eat Thai Food At This Restaurant ....^_^
Ok, thanks for sharing. I have had biryani in Thailand a few times when the meat comes on the bone, but this restaurant serves it boneless. I also had some mutton biryani in East Africa and it came with the bone on.
I've been watching your channel all day and love you "food- review" clips.. please upload more often and loooonger clips.. like 10 minutes or longer especially when u eat thaifood ..I looooove thaifood!!
I'm not really sure as I've only spoken Thai to them, however they have a nice picture menu on the wall that you can point to without knowing any Thai. Hope you can visit!
Thank you very much, I really appreciate it. I'm trying to upload more and more videos, hopefully will be able to upload 2 a week starting soon. Glad you love Thai food too!
Hey, thanks so much for watching! Wow, I didn't know there recipes are originally from Indonesia, is the family that owns the restaurant originally Indonesian? I agree, they make really good khao mok gai, some of the best in Bangkok. I learned about Aeesa Rot Dee a few years ago through a Thai friend. Great food!
Thanks a lot, hope you can come back to Bangkok again to enjoy the food. I have a few articles on Migrationology about Thai food but more on my other website eatingthaifood(dot)com and if you search around that site I've done a lot of restaurant reviews. Hope that helps and thanks again for your support!
Yeow,,,I must start saving for ticket to Bangkok from Toronto, right away!!!!! This guy is quite a motivator....makes me want to go to all corners of the planet in seek of chow!!!!:):):)
Thank you so much. I'm using a Canon DSLR 550d. I'm happy with the quality of video and then I save my videos using highest rendering quality before uploading.
Mark is so adorable when he savours all the flavours! Thank you for the food information; now I'm inspired to search for recipe how-to's to all these different dishes! x
That looks delicious. I am going to Bangkok this coming May. I have eaten chicken biryani before in the hawker center of Little India in Singapore. But i remember that the meat is already in the rice mix in on the biryani big pot.
Hi Mike! I love your travelogues. They are informative and i like that you make your food selection at where the locals eat. I have been to bangkok for over 4 times but you showed me a different side of bangkok! My partner and i will be heading down to Bangkok end of this month and i would love to try out this muslim eatery. Can you tell me which is the nearest bts station to get to Aeesa Ro tee please? Thanks a mill! Shah
In Thailand it's typically a Muslim dish - not elsewhere. Originating in Persia, biryani spread throughout many parts of the world, and yes it's famous in India and Africa now as well - I especially like East Afican biryani. How would you pronounce biryani?
Cool, thanks. Apart from this style of food, some southern Thai food is made Halal. Also some stalls selling roti. Hopefully in the future I can do more. Thanks!
Biryani is so popular in the Arab countries too especially the Arabian Gulf ones Saudi ,Qatar, Bahrain, Emirates and Oman ,, hope you will visit the mid east someday .
Your fascial expression when you taste the dishes is so intoxicating Mark! Lucky I'm flying over to Bangkok next month, I'll certainly make it a point to try this place.. hahaha
