I think we have to be mindful of critiques of song lyrics of female groups. I remember when Money by Lisa came out, she was criticized for the simple lyrics. While, at the same time, Drake had a song #1 on Billboard that was literally him saying I'm too sexy...(fill in the blank). And that wasn't even original. Stray Kids just released an amazing album but 5 of the songs are about how badass they are. But the consensus is, and I agree, is that the album is fantastic. They are new. If they aren't going to hype themselves up, who will. Love your channel and reactions!
I see what you're saying. To be fair, I critique male artists who say the same thing over and over in their songs, too. But you are right that, overall in the industry, men get away with a lot more. I think the difference between XG & Stray Kids is the discography, though. They can have 5 songs about being badass, but we can also go back and find 5 other songs that are about various topics. XG is still so new, so we don't know their range yet. I'm just curious to see what else they'll offer us (original, not covers). They sure as hell are the baddest bishes and there's no denying that!! So now, let's explore what else they are, too!! I can't wait! 💚

The only idol groups I can think of that are close to being *Dance Crew Clean" would be Twice and Seventeen. They're just always on point! I love me some XG tho
Haha the chat was saying that and I agree. BUT I did have a comment about SVT in terms of the WAY they perform. Both those groups are clean af, but SVT still all have their individual "styles" in the movement... which I LOOOOOVE about them. But it's the difference between a really clean idol group vs a clean dance crew, to me. I dunno if that makes sense, but yeah. TWICE does kind of give me dance crew in their dance practices, though, that's true. I guess I'm just more partial to XG cuz the choreography is so much more hip hop than TWICE. That's what reminds me of dance crews, probably.

I agree!! When I heard this song I was excited but a bit dissapointed with the lyrics. Just because they did that, they established they are the baddest. Hoping the album brings diversity when it comes to lyrics. But I have faith they will come through because they haven’t led us down before :)

You have multiple kpop groups for a reason gurl.., its for you to have options dont make xg what redvelvet or gidle do, its not creative to copy other groups or make all groups do the same things😌
Talk about versatility when Tippy Toes, Mascara, Left Right, Shooting Star and Grl Gang literally have different sound with members like the rapline switching to singing and rapping and what not 😅 Let's not even talk about being 'creative' as per you coz XG is straight up opposite of that like the last 3 songs that XG put out is far more creative than half if not entire catalogue of the group you mentioned. You're probably watching a diff group. lol
The tik tok challenge is not easy. There's a certain level of difficulty in this particular choreography that most casual dancers can't get right and i don't wanna sound mean but it's cringey to watch. That level of 2nd hand embarrassment 😖
