I love how all XG songs are completely different but each one is soooo XG. When Jurin came through with “Betcha can’t match these stats,” I lost it. Loved Maya’s level “so high gonna need that ladder.”
it's also cool that they incorporated sign language turned into choreo in their choreography (chisa's part in the end) to help those ppl with hearing impairments understand their music as well. they have it checked with an expert too to make sure it was conveyed well. ❤
It was such an amazing touch! Maybe the choreographer was inspired by the viral sign language moment in Rihanna's super bowl performance

XG has some if not the most original concepts rn and it’s soooo good
When it comes to MV and their fashion/visuals, the concept was given by a Japanese director at XGALX/AVEX who is the head of all XG’s MV. That’s why their MVs and aesthetics have been consistently superb no matter which firms they use and so different from any other k pop MVs out there. The entire XGALX employees and actual MV production companies also did a great job in visualizing the concept!! The team is on another level 🔥
I went into this comeback blind aswell.. I was not prepared for them to go this hard!! 🤯 AND its a BSIDE!?!?! I'm afraid 💀
The Music Video is just a teaser. The "I" in GRL was omitted because there is no "I" in TEAM; the "V" in GVNG is the symbol for the Alphaz fandom. There are a lot of technical inputs in the XG of the new era. They even incorporated sign language to convey a message to fans and would-be fans with hearing impairment. The gigantic Wolf behind the gang is the Alphaz fandom. XG is truly Xtraordinary and innovative. A whole new level. Thank you for your reaction/s. 👍🤗

Let's stan for XG so we can get more explosive production like this. Totally elevated the industry.The entire MV (music, sound editing, lyrics, costume, styling, props, art direction, concept, lighting, editing, storyboard, post prod team) deserves more credit. People behind this masterpiece are actually legends. Any 15-sec portion of this MV took so much time and hardwork. 1-sec even required multiple complex frames. Truly a masterpiece.

Simon explained that the MV is short on purpose, since it's basically an intro teaser for the XG universe and he wanted to keep the quality at max. It's a smart idea, now everybody is super hype for the upcoming title track.
For the haters and toxics out there, the more you despise and hate XG, the more they will level up and prove they are the real deal, and the haters themselves will look stupid and get slapped in their own face.

The music video for "GRL GVNG" is short because the second part was deleted in order to introduce the concept of the Mini Album in the previous release, but it's more intense than ever. The lyrics and songs, the storyline and visuals of a sci-fi movie are the best 🔥

People are saying a lot of 80’s futuristic SF anime reference in the MV like GHOST IN THE SHELL (that influenced AVATAR also) especially Harvey floating in a incubator, Cocona in a bike scene from AKIRA and the last creature in the back is wolf 🐺 version of EVANGELION. A great concept from XGALX/AVEX again and also a great MV production by a local firm and a director actually visualizing such concept 🔥

Yes, this song was sampled and formulated in 2017.
The company already purchased the IP rights to the sample stocks so you won’t hear it elsewhere or uploaded by the original producer. Simon keeps his connections with beatmakers and producers he collaborated with when he was staying in the US, even brought some of them to Japan. He mentioned it in one of the interviews that most of the beat samples in “xg files” they’re releasing nowadays are from the early preparation which was 2017.
