Got it today and used it for the first time. It worked great. It’s even more quiet than I thought it would be.
It comes with a battery that has a 5 year warranty. a new battery costs over $350. So in 6 years you'll put another $350 into it.
@@larryfisher8332 I've had my gen 1 since it came out and have yet to replace a battery. Way to spray incorrect dramatic information.
@@akakurt How's it incorrect? Name "1" thing that I said that was incorrect? Maybe you will be lucky and your battery lasts longer. No guarantees though right?
@@larryfisher8332 your car warranty only lasts for 100k miles. You don't go throwing those away after the warranty ends do you? Also how much do you pay for a quart of oil every year and gas for the alternative mowers? I pay about $5 to charge mine the whole year. Which is the cost of a gallon of gas. Point is my battery is a year off your stated 6 years and have no degradation and 0 issues. 🤷♂️
@@akakurt WTF are you babbling about?
I'm in love with all of these machines!
As a single woman I have to deal with the whole jobs around my property.
Before I used to kill myself dealing with the gas machine, By the end of the day I was dead tired.🤣🤣🤣!
But, today with the Ego machines I'm blessed 😀😀!
Get all of them as I did, you won't regret it!
And Guaranteed is excellent!
Thank you Ego!!
Looks interesting. I just brought the Ego 21” SP mower a couple of months ago and I love it. I do wish Ego would make a mulch only blade.
I'm waiting on an improved snow blower, hopefully a two stage. This mower, though, looks like a good upgrade.
My Question is : can you hose underneath to clean off the grass from the blades when done ?
Yes
NO
When is EGO going to offer a lawn striping kit?
Big league lawns claims they will be making one next season.
What does touch drive really mean?i have a bad back and pushing a mower is impossible for me..Is this a mower that i can use holding onto the bar and letting it glide on its own?
Will Ego ever make a ZTR mower? I like there designs but need more cutting capacity.
When will this be available in Australia. Thanks.
Why does this lawnmower look like a graphics card?
You forgot one very important improvement, the brushless engine.
Gutted I can't get the dual blade version in the UK yet... really want one, any US companies happy to ship one, leave your details here :)

too bad it's impossible to find a tool only one in Canada
I don't like the grip self propelled feature. I like my older ego where I can still grip the handle and move the mower around manually. Having it engage every time you grip the handle makes no sense especially when you are pivoting.
It looks like you can adjust your hands to the sides, and not touch the self-propelled buttons, and push it that way. I agree though, those buttons are not the best design. You should just have to squeeze a bar towards the handle and go, like the Honda gas lawnmowers have.
You can turn self propelled completely off by turning the dial in the middle. I mowed yesterday and honestly didn't use self propelled once granted I have a flat yard, still the mower is the lightest I've ever used and the wheels have ball bearings.
I'll take one for free... and a 650cfm hand blower... :) I'll even review it on my youtube channel, I've probably sold you guys enough snow blowers by now for that to make sense.
