I almost paid $400 for a shaping course on IG by a nail tech in AZ🤦🏽♀️ thank you so much for this. This was so helpful!!! Thank you for not gatekeeping, & for helping us beginners improve our craft without taking advantage of our lack of experience. ❤ liking sharing & subscribing ❤️
Thank you so much a million times thank you!!! For actually being one of those people who provide actual content. I really really dislike when creators say “I’m gonna teach you how to XYZ” and they tell you literally nothing. Your examples were outstanding. My nails are perfect at this point. Thank you.❤
Thank you for showing us how to shape, with also adding the acrylic. I always lose my shape once the acrylic is applied. Alot of nail techs just stop after the shaping, but dont add acrylic or go into detail with keeping that desired shape.
I’m a 51 year old who started doing my nails at home in 2020. I’m a Gma to 14, and I type all day, so I can’t have nails quite as long as the beautiful ones you wear…and the clients you work your magic on! 😊 I learned a lot though in this video! My favorites are the coffin and tapered square!! I’m getting better - took me a good year to get it figured out but you should see the collection I have on my mail cart here at home! 😅 Anyway I LOVE your videos and your personality..you are so gifted and talented. Thanks for sharing with us everything you’ve learned over the years!!! Sending love from Seattle 💚💙💚💙
I struggle a little with shaping stiletto nails 😅 This helped a lot! I noticed in your videos you are constantly cleaning up the sides when applying the acrylic. I did that when I did my current set and it was a game changer! 💖 thanks for these videos they truly help a lot ☺️ Even for those of us that may be more experienced, there is always room to learn new techniques and get better! 😘
I appreciate the fact that you slowed the shaping down and you wasn't fast. I am finally able to see exactly how to angle the file and not over file the free edges of the natural nail. You are the first one I found that I am able to understand. Been struggling with my coffin/ballerina! Again thank you!
I can't tell you how many times I've heard you say be careful while using a hand file, I totally slipped and cut my thumb yesterday doing poly gel for the first time. It was terrible and still hurts... Other then that my husband said I did a really great job for it being my first time, and I want to give credit to you and the other lady's that I watch and follow. 💚💜💚💜
I started doing nails just 2 months ago. And this was one if the first video i saw. I couldn't be more excited. I have been seeing your videos and following on social media. Every time i learn something new. And in case i always replay. Thank you. 💖 Not only for making this great video but for being so humble. May you receive many blessings. 💖💖🙏😊
I am ABSOLUTELY OBSESSED with your videos! Over the year long lockdown, I was on the hunt for descriptive, detailed nail videos and this one popped up. BY FAR, the BEST video for beginners learning how to shape. I was trying my hand at doing nails and trying to do my own. I struggled with shaping and this video helped me sooo much. Your work is phenomenal!!!
Hayy Vee ! I’m a beginner nail tech trying to learn all shapes. AND girl let me tell you how you just showed me so much within one video. I am literally sitting here with my hand mimicking every step you did. Thank you so much 💕💕
I literally woke up and said Vee needs to do a shaping video 😂 and boom it’s here I swear I love you it’s like you read our minds. I literally don’t watch other videos but yours 💅🏼

Thank you for doing this video Vee, I am still learning, even though I've done a lot of research and I know a lot from watching videos on YT and researching online, I love watching and learning more, I've been using this lockdown time to learn what I can before going to college when I am able to, to get my qualification! I've watched so many videos on shaping, but yours has really put it into detail for me!
i already commented on this video a week ago, but this is DEFINITELY my favorite video of yours (for now). i’m a beginner and find myself going back to the basics a lot but i swear i’d watch sooo many videos and still struggle a ton!! this was one of the first videos i found of yours and it seriously changed the game, it was one of the first times i saw real progress aside from what i was trying to teach myself, i adore your beginner videos because i always come back to them! thank you so much for everything you do, i recently decided to go to school to be a nail tech and i think you had a big part to play, you’re bomb 💣 ♥️
i know this video is a little old but it’s helped me soooo much, i’m not a nail tech but have an odd passion for doing nails and ALL of your videos have helped/ are helping so much, THANK YOU!!!
I see a lot mention the hand. And to be honest I think she molded her own hand and built the mound for it. They have kits on Amazon for it. Great video BTW 😊😊
I'm a beginner and this has really helped me with my shaping because that has been the hardest part of it all if you ask me. than you so much cant wait to wach more of your videos. your techniquesare great and helps me alot. :)
Hey vee, this was my favorite video you did. This is the video that changed the game for me. I send every beginner the link to this video and your page in general. 💜
I’m trying to start doing my own nail and this video helped a lot. I’ve seen many shaping videos but they don’t really explain it well and you do. I’m starting to watch your videos and I love them!
Thank you so much for this video! I just got certified in March and they only taught us short, square nails. So now that I’m doing clients I’ve been struggling with some shapes so this is gonna help tons! 💜
Omg vee keep doing this for us ....right now iam unable to afford tech school and your videos are god send ......thank for doing this please dont stop doing them your are god send to pleople that can afford tech school at this moment .
The fact that these videos are free just amazed me 💗💗 your voice is so claiming I literally can't watch certain nail videos cause there voice annoys me.

My struggle is with the ballerina shape (tapered) but im trying now with my trainer hand. I like this video alot and hopefully lets see if i can get this. I like how you say you have a love hate relationship lol my love hate relationship is definitely ballerina as much as i love it!!
So glad I am able to catch your video! Shapes are the most difficult for me! Your tutorials are the best. Your knowledge of nails is top notch and I greatly appreciate it you sharing with us!
Me: Are you excited about trying out all different shapes at once? Silicone handed client: Are you ready to be super frustrated because I’m not going to be still when needed, so I’ll suck at allowing you to be great . . . . 🤭🤦🏽♀️😫 ** I’m so ready for this quarantine to be over. My 11 yr old hates being my lab rat and my husband suddenly has a fingernail handicap 🤣😂😂🤣 Awesome upload Vee, Thanks so much for sharing 🥰✨ Stay Safe beautiful
Dhayjanire Louisanneau Yes, we’re still on lockdown. A few locations reopened only. To answer the question of why: my only guess is, due to financial hardship. However, there’s no business coming in, or clients, for very distasteful reasoning and now, we’re experiencing terrible spikes of the virus in some states because of the rioting. Everyone’s ignoring the seriousness of this situation smh... Nevertheless, my family and I are remaining as safe as possible. Thank you beautiful, please practice safety as well🌈✨
@@glow4mecosmeticsteamtopcoa264 thanks, we are not in lock down anymore in France but I'm scared we go back but yesterday I bought acrylic. I didn't want to cuz the first time I could not do it. I thought it was because of me but after seeing reviews of the kit I had I réalised it was the brush. And this morning I practiced liquid to powder ratio and even dis a nail on myself. I've never been so proud. I wanna be a nails tech later so yeah
Dhayjanire Louisanneau Please be safe beautiful. We can only hope and pray that this too, shall pass. You should be very proud of yourself, this is a great accomplishment. You’re on the right track. In response to your October 2021 giveaway: You have a LOT of great videos posted on here (and I’m not a heavy IG user so this is where I watch you) but I think this one helped me the most as a newbie (less than a year). I still have some issues with stiletto, but I’ll get there! Thank you for doing such a great job and congrats on the newest addition to the family!
This was so good thanks! I never knew how to fix the problem of the acrylic always made the shape go away. I wasn’t wiping the sides and patting as much which made them thick and excess filing.

i already commented on this video a week ago, but this is DEFINITELY my favorite video of yours (for now). i’m a beginner and find myself going back to the basics a lot but i swear i’d watch sooo many videos and still struggle a ton!! this was one of the first videos i found of yours and it seriously changed the game, it was one of the first times i saw real progress aside from what i was trying to teach myself, i adore your beginner videos because i always come back to them! thank you so much for everything you do, i recently decided to go to school to be a nail tech and i think you had a big part to play, you’re bomb 💣 ♥️
The one thing I suck at, I needed this before I do my nails again. Thank you Vee!!
i know this video is a little old but it’s helped me soooo much, i’m not a nail tech but have an odd passion for doing nails and ALL of your videos have helped/ are helping so much, THANK YOU!!!
I see a lot mention the hand. And to be honest I think she molded her own hand and built the mound for it. They have kits on Amazon for it. Great video BTW 😊😊
Nope its a bella lol
It looks like red iguana her hands are posable
I'm a beginner and this has really helped me with my shaping because that has been the hardest part of it all if you ask me. than you so much cant wait to wach more of your videos. your techniquesare great and helps me alot. :)
I literally just practiced my nails 🤣 wish I saw this video before
Now this is a legit shaping video!! 👍🙏 Thank you!!!!
This was great Vee ThankYou ! I tend to have a heavy hand & over- file at times. Working on that. 😊
You got this girl💕 keep on practicing it’ll get easier
Vee Nailedit I just ordered the TT files!
Hey vee, this was my favorite video you did. This is the video that changed the game for me. I send every beginner the link to this video and your page in general. 💜
I am a guy who got bored and ended up on the other side of RUclips
I'm a gay guy starting out with nails 😂
I just ordered my beginner nail kit and girl your video are the only ones I’ve been watching love the work ‼️
Hey love was just wondering where you got you nail hair at it wasn't on your page of products you use, love your videos you've taught me so much ,thank you love 🥰
Am a beginner nail tech I must say this is the best explanation ever God bless u.
I have that love hate relationship with Almond too. Lol
I’m watching this as if I’m not going to the nail salon next week... I- 😂😂
This is mad relaxing for some reason. I think it’s your voice.
Me: Are you excited about trying out all different shapes at once?
Silicone handed client: Are you ready to be super frustrated because I’m not going to be still when needed, so I’ll suck at allowing you to be great

** I’m so ready for this quarantine to be over. My 11 yr old hates being my lab rat and my husband suddenly has a fingernail handicap 🤣😂😂🤣
Awesome upload Vee, Thanks so much for sharing 🥰✨
Stay Safe beautiful
Is it still quarantine in the US? Idk I'm French sooo...
But I hear some bad news. Stay safe with Ur family and don't be a Karen
Keep up the amazing work beautiful, and I’m excited for you and the road you’re on because, it means you’ve chosen the latter to not give up. Continue to evolve and stay safe✨
Ha! Remind me of my situation but my girls(4) 3 of them love getting their nails done especially my 15yr old. Yes my husband wants me to do his feet all of a sudden, lol.
Hello Vee, i am a beginner at acrylic nails! your videos and techniques have helped me a lot throughout the way! Thank you so mich for doing this to help us💜 an Empowered woman empowers other women❤️
I'd love to see a video on applying acrylic on someone who has really long nail beds. I find those the hardest to do. Love your work
My nail beds are so short and it makes me insecure I wish I had long slender nail beds 😭
I had to really look for the difference between coffin and tapered but then you explained it amazingly and I cant unsee the difference. THANK YOU FOR THIS
I start nail school soon so I’m nervous about this part lol
Don't be nervous. Being in school is exactly the place to learn if you aren't sure about something. Save being nervous for when you're a professional on your first client ;)😉
@@HelloYersoGae awwwwwwww thank you so much!!!! I’ve always wanted to do nails
This is my favorite video. This was the basis of me learning how to shape nails and I constantly share this video on beginner pages on Facebook. So many people have issues with shaping I never had an issue thanks to you through this video. I love your channel and you are my go to instructor/designer when I need to lean how to do something love you 😍
Hey can you do a video on how you prep your fake hand? And also how to remove the nails as well
Yes I need that info . Maybe I’ll become better cause I don’t have clients as I would love ..
She did a live for this a couple weeks ago and that video is still up. Super informative, but I believe it might be member only video. She shared some tips that I now use in my practice hand and would have never thought of!
Great video! Thank you so much for the close Angles and for the in depth tutorial.
Should I get the Kiara sky e file or the YN e file?
Love my Kiara Sky efile!
Use discount code “Vee10”
Vee Nailedit what makes it better than the YN e file besides portability?
Portability is a game changer! Especially when you take gel polish off toes or need to move your station to a place not easily accessible to an outlet
Olivia Ma'am idk if I should get the Kiara sky e file bc the $70 melody Susie e file on amazon has the same specs it seems. What file do u have?
I bought the Melody Susie for 70$ with all the bits nd it works great! Its not loud it greats! I'd like to know the difference in those two also!
This is my first time ever seeing your channel and I know you're talking about sculpting nails but I can't help notice how that new color on your fingernails is so awesome
The fake hand used... It's so much like a real hand.
What is it called and where can I buy it?

Thank you for this video. I've been doing nails for many years and sometimes you can get stuck in a rut but with all the competition out there you have to make sure your work stands out. This will help me tremendously.

I just passed my state board and watching your videos has been so informative. Thanks a bunch!💖
Omg, i just love your nail vídeos.
They help me so much❤️❤️❤️
This was so good thanks! I never knew how to fix the problem of the acrylic always made the shape go away. I wasn’t wiping the sides and patting as much which made them thick and excess filing.
Love this tutorial Vee just looking through for a refresher for shaping and this is perfect
I love watching your videos, they are so informative. Thank you so much!
YESS FINALLY!! I been wanting a video on shaping from you THANKYOU SO VERY MUCH vee!! I appreciate you so mucho for taking the time to teach and explain everything for beginners nail technicians like my self 🥰
One of the best explained videos, keep up the good work in helping others to learn to do their own nails. Love and peace
I am a beginner and I just ordered the stuff and I saw your page and I am Learning a lot from you
I love this video!! This video was one of my first videos to watch when I decided to do acrylic. I love and see how you showed how to get the different shapes of nails! If I’m being sincere I think all of your videos are awesome. You are my inspiration and I always wish to become an awesome nail tech as you! You are so talented. 💕
