For about $20 I put a factory extended mag release and reduced poundage mag release spring in mine. Took 5 minutes and is a game changer for mag drop ease, no issues so far.
Well done! Glocks are reliable like a honda accord, and the aftermarket is huge. No worries to find parts or mags. I do agree though the 19 is to big for smaller frame people.
I actually sold my Gen 5 19, and bought the Glock 45. The grip just isn’t very friendly to my larger hands, didn’t feel right, and affected my accuracy. The 45 is pure utter perfection. I also just bought a Gen 5 Glock 20, with the Holosun SCS. I’m in love with those firearms. As always, great review Ms.

I just shot this pistol for the first time at the range with my sister and nephew. Was not disappointed. I have big hands so I did get pinched with one reload but I shot it pretty decent. Handled the G17 afterwards for comparison and it fit like a glove. I had no trouble with the magazine release with my hands. It was so tempting not to buy it on the spot.
I’d like to shoot the Macro and see what the grip feels like. The 19 grip feels quite a bit larger than the 365XL. If you get to shoot one, let us know your thoughts.
I had the 43x when it first came out & also hated the little trigger blade. It was uncomfortabele & had to change it. Ended up selling it, wasnt really impressed
I’ll be honest here(as compared to dishonest I guess).. i’m not a fan. I looked at this gun purely in thoughts of as a carry weapon. The amount of rise that I saw every time you took a shot seems really excessive. I am a fan of steel guns and their weight helping to control the kick. Just me but I’d suggest you take a look at aCZ P-01 9mm… shoots flat has a really high bore axis and they are indestructible… reasonably priced also very competitive to this Glock.
The Glock 19 is my all time favorite concealed carry. I am still carrying a Gen 1. I just like it.

Try the Ghost Tac S extended mag release…it is a great improvement over the OEM release

I love my Sig P365 X Macro. It’s my everyday carry. But I do want to shoot a Glock 19.
