Voddie, my husband and I are thanking God for your service to His church. The insight you've shared here has enhanced our understanding of how "the culture" has influenced us .Even after 54 blessed years of marriage, we continue to need to renew our minds in God's word, so we thank God for what you've shared here and pray for your ministry to continue to the glory of Christ .

I strongly believe that we would not have half the problems that exist in families today if we only behave and follow God's instructions instead of the world's /man's...which is and has confirmed our demise. I pray that preaching the truth will somehow start a reversal of living incorrectly to living as God says.

I have listened to a lot of sermons and they are often wonderful, but is there a sermon on the importance of building a relationship with the Lord?

I've been listening to Voddie for years. The title you've given this message is true, but it is not the thrust of this sermon. This sermon is about biblical womanhood. I'd like to give you the benefit of the doubt, but when you give it a name that has little to do with the sermon, it's suspect to me. If you really have purity of purpose, there would be no need to rename the sermon. What do you gain by this?

Hi Bro.. keep in mind that many people post his sermons using his name, etc. and they put a catchy title to bait a person into clicking. Voddie has more than 578 scribers.

If you have been adopted in to the family of God (John 1:12-13, 3:3, Ephesians 1:4-6, etc)....i.e... "Born Again" & you desire Christ, His Truth & Righteousness, study His Word😊
      (John 6:63, Romans 12:2, 2 Timothy 2:15, 1 Thessalonians 2:4, 1 Tim. 4:6, Galatians 1:10, etc )
If you do not Study God's Word Daily, I encourage you to begin so, starting in the Gospel of John, then, study the other Gospels, John again, Acts, Romans, etc
GOD Speaks to us through HIS WORD, illuminated by the Holy Spirit, we speak to God through praise & prayer❤
We NEED fellowship with other believers...some to teach & mentor us & some for us to serve...it is impossible for us to serve Christ without serving His People.
Sanctification is a lifelong process, but the more we learn, trust & Apply God's Word, the less we rely on & trust man & more importantly, the lest we trust SELF! (See Proverbs 3:1-8, Romans 12:2)❤️✝️

Teach her about the Heavenly Father in the scriptures, my earthly father was not there for me, but someone else has lead me to know our Heavenly Father Whom is the Father of the fatherless from the Holy Scriptures

For my father and my mother have forsaken me,
but the LORD will take me in.-Psalms 27:10
There is a reason that things like James 1:27 were written: Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.
Biblically, an "orphan" was not Only a child without parents, but also a child with only one parent....so, if the parent loves & is a follower of Christ, it would be the responsibility of that parent to be, or remain pure, teach their child God's Word, both in a Bible believing fellowship & at home, trusting God & His Word (not man, the world, or the government) to provide mentorship & instill biblical values.❤️✝️
