Marrow was made in the 80s I thought or early 90s. The original X Team was 60s though. X Men is great, they ran out of ideas so “they born with super powers” and made the mutants represent all social screw ups in our world to the super hero genre. Good work Stan, awesome legacy for sure.

Anyone who read the original Exiles run got to see Blink properly showcased, or at least an older alternate universe version of her in the form of a veteran resistance fighter from an Age of Apocalypse timeline who really highlighted the incredible versatility of her odd teleportation powers. In particular those pink shards of hers which were essentially forced teleporting energy blasts allowing her to dump her opponents all over the battlefield into containment cells, or right in front of incoming fire, and in one case just teleporting the Hulk a few miles straight up into the stratosphere to give the team time to come up with a plan to deal with him before he hit the ground.
Exiles is my favorite superhero team, Blink, Mimic, and Sabretooth were great
Marrow is the original Spike.
spikes big arc in x-man evolution was pretty much marrow's big story line. I liked spike but I don't know why they changed marrow as a character so much, like marrow is a way cooler moniker if they wanted they could have kept the character as a female and it would have made more sense since females put more value on their looks than males not sure why they chose to change both the character's race and gender. Marrow was actually in a video game too, I think it was called X-men Vs Capcom, one of the early fighting games before Marvel Vs Capcom I think.

Dawn of x has Kid Omega in X Force. This list needed an update before you released it i think. Dawn Of X changed A LOT of Xmen status quo.
He was also in the west coast avengers recently. But the run got cancelled pretty early on sadly.
He also became a host for the Phoenix before that.
And Sage run"s Krakoa's surveillance in X-Force as well.
@@Pharaonixx To be honest I know jack about sage. Dawn of X really brought me back into X Men comics after a long while. It helps that Dawn of X isn't weighed down by to much back story where I feel lost. Btw when did Krakoa come back to life? That is the only thing I'm not clear on. Everyone else who was dead and returned is explained by the whole Krakoa pod people resurrection thing.

What I like about the X-men is how vulnerable the characters are towards becoming good or bad. They are very human in that regard, and depending on who they end up forming a strong enough relationship with, dictates which side they end up fighting for. So there’s really no inherently bad characters. Just ones who were led astray.

Given that I read X-men mostly from Jim Lee's to 2010, I really love those characters whom each have had their small time to shine.
Marrow was one of my favorite because she had some development for morlock to x-woman (more interesting than, say, Maggot).
I like Stacy X and Monica Reyes but nobody knew how to write them and utilize their powers. I guess American readers were put off by sex and pheromones manipulation in the case of Stacy X.

I don't think M gets enough credit. They're 5 of the most powerful and intelligent mutants in Marvel when they're all combined and their/her power is basically to be the perfect hero.
I know you addressed it in the intro, but I reserve the right to state that I knew about all of these characters.
10 *Sage* (like a good amount of mutants) has become more important since the HoX/PoX mini-series. She helps run the gateways to and from Krakoa, and is the all around information gatherer for Krakoa. She's also part of the newest iteration of X-Force.
5 *Quentin Quire* is currently "starring" in the newest X-Force title, alongside Wolverine, Domino, Beast. Marvel Girl, and Sage.
It's so great that so many old 'forgotten' characters get the chance to shine in the Krakoan Age!
I actually remember Marrow from Wolverine and The X-Men.
Omg don't remind me of that show, it pains me to think that we'll never see another season :(

I find it funny, talking about possibly resurrecting Blink, when she was. In the same story line they mentioned in the Warpath section, X Necrosha.
She was in the Exiles
@@davidjones3165 Yeah, but that was Blink from Age of Apocalypse, the 616 universe Blink mentioned in the video seemingly died during the Phalanx Covenant story line, and was brought back by Selene in the same story Warpath was brought back.
The only one I had heard of was Marrow and that's only because of Marvel vs Capcom 2

She was a great fighter and very fast. The way she said 'see ya' and grunts when she attacks made her seem like a cool character and so fitting as a morlock. The morlocks are cool.
I remember when they introduced her in the 90s I believe I still have those comic books to date.

Marrow has had a raw deal within the comics. She has a lot of potential and was a fun character to play in Marvel vs Capcom 2.
I will agree that Thunderbird 3 is fairly obscure (though not unheard of), but the rest are all a lot more common. My list of obscure (though admittedly not unheard of X-Men)

Blink actually first appeared in the X-Men Age of Apocalypse storyline, she also survives it's collapse. She ends up in her own series called the Exiles where she travels to alternate marvel universes
All of these are pretty well-known. Should have gone for characters like Feral, Hollow, Mercury, Honey Badger, Oya, Surge, Armor, Catseye, M, Husk, Rictor,

@@davidclark2540 I was commenting on the fact that the video was called X-Men "you have never heard of" and X-Man has an entire story arc named after him, which you don't have to 'read every comic' to know about. There are X-Men which are very much less known than X-Man. Him being a title character kind of belies the clickbaitiness of the title.
I am just wondering if ones premise was actually to find X-Men others might not be aware of, then avoiding characters that have entire story arcs named after them would be a good start.
Perhaps a better premise for the video would be "X-Men you have never heard of if you haven't read the comics." Or even "Popular X-Men you might not know"
I like the video fine for what it is, and don't mean to be padantic but it's like listing a greatest hit in the deep cuts section.

Well, I heard about Marrow and Warlock but at least even then I got to learn a few factoids about them I was unaware of. Neat!
I knew about the Mutant [BLINK] from the XBOX GAME
(X-MEN Day of APOCALYPSE)
And I knew about the Mutant [Marrow] from the XBOX GAME
(MARVEL VS. CAPCOM 2)
I’ve heard some of these characters when I was a kid, the likes of Marrow, Blink, and *“X-Man”* had caught my attention for a bit
Maybe someone else already noticed this and commented, but did anyone else find it curious that they went out of their way to mention the events of Necrosha when talking about Warpath, but didn't mention that Blink was brought back in that same event? They're talking about her like she is still dead. Also feels like a miss not mentioning her AoA counterpart, who was much longer written about and more popular.
Blink did come back around the same time as the Necrosha storyline.
She was one of Selene's most loyal minions.
I only know about Marrow because of MvC2, and know of Warpath and Mimic because I had trading cards of them back when I enjoyed collecting those.

Sage is not "good at computer", she IS a computer... or her memory functions like a computer with endless memory space and extreme processing speed... she remembers everything she's ever lived, experiences, seen, heard, smelled, tasted, touched, done, etc... which means that she can read books or see martial arts movies and replicate the moves (she's extremely fit too)....
Nate grey is my favourite X-Men.
Sage is one of my favorite X-Men, too bad most writers don't seem to be very interested in her
Also, she's effectively a living, biological computer as a good portion of her power. The unlocking other mutant powers felt tacked on and I keep forgetting the psionic ability myself.

I knew Warpath, Quentin and Dr. X (vaguely), but I can't for the life of me remember which comics I know them from... Or even if I know them from the comics at all.
Might be they appeared in Marvel Heroes, which I played a lot. And that game was one of the reasons I really got into the Marvel comics too.
