Man these coin magicians are easy to follow at the beginning then at some point you they put you behind on following their moves. That was great!
That was awesome! I seen one trick but I think it mighta been done intentionally to let us think we knew how things were being done...until that coin disappearing, and the coffee brewing, and the coin reappearing in the sugar pile, seriously, wth??? Absolute talent!!!
You know, I was able to sort out all of it... except that signed coin production at the end. That sure has me fooled! Well done!
I hope you can see it someday live. It is even stronger nowadays! Thanks for your comment!
@@AlfonsoRituerto I hope I get the chance. It would be a joy! :)
Stunning flawless unseen manipulation,
and Alyson just stunning!
I really love coin magic, but this act is so beautiful ! Love it ! I love coffee as well ! That's an amazing piece of art !
Thanks for the very kind words!
Oh you are so smooth! I've watched dozens of Fool Us videos on here and your amazing performance is the first that I have stood up for and applauded after watching, thank you.
So very elegant!
Camera angles were awful, it showed literally every aspect of the trick in plain sight on the first viewing, actively making the performance worse. But he is such a charismatic showman that the entertainment Value is still there
Camera angles are good. That's what a magician tunes in at rehearsals. Probably due to the fear, all manipulation was revealed...

Alfonso: *says that sugar is what makes coffee good*
Baristas: '-'
I knowwwww. It was a modified script for the moment. I know everybody hated that, and you are right for doing so! It does not apply at all to coffee as it should be. But it does apply to the coffee in german universities. Try it without sugar! :D
@@AlfonsoRituertoYeah, I figured that's what you meant haha. I'm a barista, so I like straight espresso, black coffee, etc..
I love coffee with sugar 😍
I like my coffee with sugar.. So fucking what? I pay batistas to make my coffee and not to judge me based on their opinions.
Fuck Everyone and their opinions. Each to their own.
Great act. Great personality. Great story. Trying to fool great magicians is greatly difficult.
Keep it up
I love his charming personality but I hate the camera angles destroying the illusion of magic :(
Such a relaxing energy
Not the most flattering camera angles.
Beautifully Done. A charming performance. Even though I was familiar with some of the techniques I was surprised so many times😅 It is nice to see classical magic done so well!
I love coin magic. Always resonated with me more than cards.
I love how you put your pic. when youre beside Alison ❤🤘
hey, what did you mean? I'd like to understand this :D
Beautiful! I bet it's even better one on one in a cafe
Beautifully done! As Penn also said, I love how he executed some of that Slydini stuff perfectly. Nice act!
I noticed only one thing: at 2:47 he drops the third coin from his right hand.
and the cup from under the table
@@davidburton3447 never trust a draped table
I love fool us. 1 thing I noticed is magicans do magic with no premis. At least u chose to go with a theme... good job.....
Awesome act!! So cool you're bringing Slydini back into our memories. He was the master. Well done!!
Saw basically every move thanks to the camera. Or maybe I’ve watched too many of these, I just know what to look for now.
doesn't take a bad camera angle to see the obvious hand go under the table. And the coin movements were fairly sloppy...
Un número muy bonito y bien ejecutado, Alfonso. Enhorabuena. ¡A seguir con los éxitos! Un abrazo fuerte.
Muchas gracias!
Those hands are smooth! i'm not good at noticing misdirection so... magic are always magic for me... :D
This is a very sweet routine
Nice one Alfonso... was great to watch
Thank you so much!
I like it! Mainly because I dont know how he got the bloody coin in the sugar! I have no Idea what so ever! And what about the coffe?! Bloody hell. I will probably watch it several more times in the future. The other moves and techniques are also extremly well done an I love the plot!
imo the coin in the sugar wasn't that impressive, the first time i was quiet sure how he did it but the cut made it harder to see. Replaying it once Made it very obvious like anything else in this act
@@nugginusslover476 how?
@@Rick-jz3ug just rewatch it and watch his left hand
@@nugginusslover476 still dont see it...what time of the video? Thx
@@nugginusslover476 :) On the other hand, the sugar coin was very impressive, unlike the other tricks I showed, in which I would highlight the interplay of the performance and the pleasant speech. Coins in sugar already want a little physics. To keep the pile of sugar from breaking, it is necessary to pull the coin horizontally on the table under the canvas to the point below the sugar, where the canvas has never been. It does not matter whether the assistant does it with a magnet, or a mechanism with a magnet, or moves another canvas under the canvas. Still, the effect is simply excellent, especially when the camera was cut at a critical time, preferably the last one in the distance. :) This changes the honest and nice trick into video scams from the fraudulent Angel's workshop. This loses the mission, as someone nicely but unnecessarily wrote upstairs.
Love when Allyson have a brief crush with magicians xD
2:38 silver coin passes the "ping test" 😊
I did catch some of your sleight of hand, beautifully executed
Thanks mate!
Fantastic magician
I'm having some money problems right now. I should make friends with this guy so he can make some money appear for me.
Me: Hey I caught that motion there. Maybe I'm learning some things.
Alfonso: *produces coin from under the sugar*
Me: I KNOW NOTHING! HOW THE HELL DID HE DO THAT?!
Utterly amazing.
*It's MAAAAAAAAAAGIC* 🎃
1:30 yikes
Yeah that one is way too obvious.
The cringe is real
Lovely to watch. A true pro.
great act
1:30 such an inocent trick ... will not fool anybody
tbf, this would have fooled me a week ago. Before i started binge watching this show xD
He entertained me. Why not? :D
Spanish table magic. The best in the world.
Ha! I caught one of the moves! Gottem
fooled me :)
Ya but he made NO mention of when you made her signed coin appear under the sugar!!!
Beautiful done.
Great Performance!
Nice act, I followed you all the way until the last trick. Lots of misdirection to pull this act off.
Slydini sure, but how did he get the coin in the sugar?
What were the coins used in the trick?
¡qué apellido más extraño!
How come I didn't notice how the signed coin ended up in the sugar? Can someone explain that?
Jovan P I think he has a lid or something under the table to slide in the coin under the sugar ?
The performance was beautiful and you could tell Alyson was eating it up. Rarely see her this excited to be near the act.
2:46 not sure how he did it all i know is the camera angles weren’t noce to him
Half the comments are about how charming he is, while the other half of the comments are about the camera angles. I love it :)
I wish I were more like you and could learn these things. Very jealous.
Hahaha :*
That's a nice truck he did there using a Cybertruck
I caught more than a few of the moves myself.
This show needed to work on the camera angles, of all shows! Great act!
I'm going to comment on this video, because why not
But how did it get underneath the sugar?
He's a lot different here than when he was in Fresh Prince.
How did the coin appear under the sugar?
Never let that dude decide something with a coin-toss....
Even if he asks "Wanna do 2 out of 3??"
Seriously at first it looked so "bad" but then you put the coin into the sugar... somehow. well done
How did he do the last trick?
Your hands are majestic
Wow thanks!!!
I feel bad that because of the camera angle you can see the coin on the table before you are supposed to.
You can see him produce the cup, though, no matter the angle.
@@r0bw00dyeah from under the table 😂
If you're still in Leipzig I invite you on a coffee :)
Yes I am! Come to Magic Monday and say hello :D
Just curious, when Penn mentions Slydini, is he referring to a specific routine of his?
No, but there is a very specific move appart from the use of lapping that I used to make a coin vanish that he created. Revolver.
@@AlfonsoRituerto Thanks.
It would be really nice if the last move can be done with foot. Some engineering would required but that definitely helps the spine. The move would be almost invisible too.
You mean the switch?
@@AlfonsoRituerto I mean the coin appear under the salt pile.
@@nguyenvu8262 nice Idea but no need to! As soon as Corona situation gets under control you should be able to see my last TV performance, where I use a new method which is much more clear and no feet or strange things are needed (not saying it was here the case, but now it got better). Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
@@AlfonsoRituerto Sure, looking forward to it.
Watch it at .25x then see the magic
At 2:45 you see him drop the coin. Maybe I have watched to many of these episodes... but I caught that slight of hand.
Are you me?
@ hey, any act on here is better then anything I can do, I'm not a magician.
But if you're going on a show call fool me, and it's penn and teller. You better be able to fool me the spectator.
Not denying the guys talented, but next time practice a bit more before you go on tv.
@@ratedr8490 The magicians don't really care too much about fooling them. They get just a trophy. They really perform for these reasons: They enjoy it with all their heart and they get fame! The fooler is a nice extra, that also comes down to a lot of luck. To really fool them, even with a trick they know, there's actually a real way to do that! There was this magician who did fake misdirections, in order to have Penn guess the wrong method. That's enough to get the trophy as they only get one guess. The trick with the moving pictures written on every card on the back of the deck.
U r correct he did
@osher naim So you were counting? 😂
2:45 i saw that, he already had it in his hand and he dropped it there
*why not*
Misdirection cup on lap brings up cup and throws sugar at it. Cup had sugar for next setup.. palm coin.. magnetic coin bottom of cup. Palm coin cup 3 coin
The camera gives away the sleight of hand... thats fair on the magician (for the tv audience)
Easy to see his tricks , he was a little slow also on some of the tricks !!!
While watching it didn't even fooled me, the only tricks that got me were the coin underneath the sugar and the coffee out of nowhere in the coffe maker. But the perfomance were so good, loved from very beginning to the end.
Great performance. Sadly the camera work was bad. They showed some of your moves due to camera angle and on the last trick they showed their faces and we missed part of the trick
Du bist unfassbar gut darin Aufmerksamkeit zu lenken
First (and only) magician who could ask Alyson to please put “your fingers inside…” (“in there?”) “…yourself”, and then follow it up half a minute later with “did you like what you see?” and ask her on a coffee date 😂
I’m not a huge fan of innuendo jokes, they’re often overdone/awkward, but that was hysterical - and it wasn’t even on purpose. Much funnier bc Alyson will unfortunately never live down the “band camp” line lmao
I would suggest trying out something like: “go ahead and feel inside that sugar pile with whichever hand you prefer” if you perform this often, so people like me keep our minds outta the gutter for an innocent trick 😏
(Let the record show I’m not laughing at your English - I never want people who perform from other countries to worry about their accent. I understood every word, it made perfect sense, and is better than my Spanish and ASL combined by now… reminds me I really need to get back into using it regularly lol. Also reminds me how much I need to go practice my basic card and coin crap lol)
But jokes and languages aside this was super impressive. I slowed certain parts down to watch at .25x over and over and still couldn’t catch exactly what you did at some parts. I don’t think that’s ever happened with a coin routine, and I’ve seen countless. Crazy skill. Definitely a new fan. Big ups on the performance.
That is very nice of you! I changed lot of things in this act and among them that sentence :D Yeah, that kind of funny errors happen a lot, when you are not perfectly fluent in another language. It still happens to me in German after 12 years in this country.
Thanks for your kind words about my magic. I hope that you can see me if I ever get the chance to be in the show again :)
RUclips should allow posters to disable the speed changing function. At 0.25 it ruins the act.
I do not think that doing so would be necessary better for the magic. I mean, if anybody wants to play it slower, they could always download the video and use vlc or so.
The question here is what to do with what you want to see. If you want to know how it is done by checking the technical parts in slow-mo, shouldn't you then know that you are yourself ruining the magic for yourself? I think so. What I am trying to say is: those who are rightfully (why not?) looking for the secret should not try to destroy the illusion for others. But yeah, some people are unsure of themselves and receive some kind of pleasure by telling others that they could not be fooled. I get it, is human.
Another thing: the production of the cup at the beginning and the appearance of the third coin were strongly criticised. Sometimes even with hateful words 😅 Those critics do not understand something: in front of a camera some tricks just do not work as they do live. Fool Us producers saw my act live and loved it. That's why they invited me directly. The appearance of the cup is in live performances a bomb. Some people have screamed in theatre. But in video, I agree, it looks really bad. "It LOOKS bad" cannot mean "it IS bad". Not everybody had the time to change the acts in which they are working since years for the release in TV. Me among others just did it as I do in theatre or for private shows. Camera men and women did their best but sometimes it just do not work together.
So, for those whaching in slow mo: enjoy it but be careful and respect others.
For those saying that a routine is bad because you saw the way it worked in a video: don't forget that maybe you do not understand or know the context of creation of the routine.
Enjoy in slow, high or normal speed. And let others enjoy themselves. We need to be nice, the world is too full of hate.
Was that not his second time on the show and if so why wasn't it announced I know he's been on there twice and neither time was it announced that it was the second time so I just wonder why
Coffee was my first time. Miser’s Dream was the second :)
The sugar everywhere triggers my OCD.
Unfortunately the camera picked up half of the tricks
sad they put the camera right on your hand for the 3rd coin drop.
You can also tell alot of what he is doing with the 1st 2 coins. With the 1st coin, while he is "attempting" to drop it into the cup, he is actually dropping it behind the cup at the same time he gives the cup a couple slight shakes to make it sound like it is hitting the others as it "passes through the bottom of the cup. He then holds the coin behind the cup with part of his thumb while the tip of his thumb is still touching the cup. Then moves his thumb slightly to make the coin drop
With the 2nd coin, he does the same bit with his thumb. You obviously see him drop the 3rd coin. As for the 4th coin, he almost unnoticeably switches it from his left hand to his right where he slightly lifts the back of the cup just enough to allow him to slip the coin back under the cup.
As for the signed coin, I didnt catch how he did that part
@@jefferytotten8949 The signed coin fooled me! I liked it
You can see his right hand drop a coin on the table
playback speed at 0.25 always reveals the trick

I really thought about it but was too expensive 😅
I saw every trick he did
How did he do the signed coin trick??
My pet hamster even knew how these tricks where done.
@@Sakura-bs1rk Mis directions
What about the smoke coming from the coffe maker? There was some smoke on all the promo pictures, wasn't it?
Depends on the eviroment. It is not allways visible, since in this trick it is natural smoke. In the promo it is another kind.
He let the third coin be shown
@1:51 how tf 🤯
Go back to 1:33 when he says “I’m full of sugar”. He palms the three coins (1:36). I think the mic might even pick up the sound of the coins. It’s smooth and natural but not terribly difficult to execute.
You're dumb for not being able to figure that out. I bet life perplexes you as well.
My my pet spider watching even knew instanting how its done, and yawned.
Does the cup have a double bottom?
No, he actually grips the first 2 coins with part of his thumb right behind the cup. You can clearly see him shake the cup slightly to give the illusion that he is dropping the same 2 coins ontop of the ones already in the cup when he is actually dropping them right behind the cup
Two in the cup and two on the table but and In 2:47 I literally see you drop coin from your which you hide in your hand without in slow motion 😂 . Well it's not your fault totally .
You are the most attractive magician that has been on this show, from appearance, to your personality, to how talented you are is just… wow! 💓✨

Oh no, a german philosophy nerd.
About 30 seconds before the coin appears in the sugar, his left hand goes under the table and puts it there. You can see his hand disappear. 4:17 - 4:25
how can his hand reach that far??
@@BrianSu The table will have been setup to push it exactly there... So he drops and pushes it and the mechanism puts it there...
