Apologies for not uploading a video in ages, I've been very busy! This is only an intermediate video to show I didn't give up on this channel, and I will be uploading new videos throughout the next few weeks when I have time.

I used to work in Porter Square. I took both the Red line and the commuter rail all the time, and I remember that station so well. It is nice to see the gloves are still there!!

hey here we are 12/09/19 and so far there is not that much news to share on the red line and orange line but it appears to be a oversight issue with the green line train issue and the reason why i say this is because the type 9 train green line models stinks and it really needs to be more hybrid looking or change the green line system comepletly

Thank you for your well-done walk through of the Porter Square station. Can anybody answer this? At Porter Square the inbound line is above and offset from the outbound line while at Harvard
Square, the next inbound station, the inbound line is below, and offset from, the outbound line. When the Redline was extended, why were the levels of the inbound and outbound lines reversed between these two stations?

I never understood if there was a technical reason but I appreciate it as a commuter -- in the morning, when i'm in the most of a rush, it's nice that it's the first platform at Porter. Also, at Harvard, it's nice to get from bus tunnel to just keep walking "down" to the inbound platform.

Always use the stairs at Porter

Speeding up the escalator ride footage ruins the sense of scale. The most notable thing about the place is the insanely long escalator and stairs.

Nothing got the adrenaline going like being at the top of the escalator, hearing your train coming and racing like mad to the bottom hoping you’d get there in time (especially when you had a non-peak hour commute and had no clue how long you’d have to wait for the next one).

It's not mold. And even if it was mold it's the best mold. Nobody does mold like Porter Sq.
