I've stopped to help twice. Once was an accident I witnessed when a state trooper got t-boned at an intersection by a drunk driver. The trooper had a hard time getting out and she wasn't about to just sit there and wait, so I came to help. I told her to calm down but she wouldn't. I yelled at her to stop and I think the yelling made her kind of realize she needed help so she calmed down. She was in full fight or flight mode and I was worried about spinal injuries. She got creamed right in the driver's door but she was a fierce little thing. She wasn't about to let me keep her calm.. she pulled herself out and luckily some other cops showed up & dealt with the drunk. They also came down to the ST car and stayed with her until EMS got there but sheesh, that trooper was PISSED. The other time was 1-1 and the guy got one good punch in before they started. All I did was help hold the guy down while the cop put on the handcuffs. He asked if I wanted to be involved or not. I said no. He said thank you but you should go before everybody else gets here.

For what? Attacking a man for walking down the street? What was the dude supposed to do? There was a car on the shoulder already, so he had to walk around it. That's not a crime, at no point was he "in the middle of the street" like the lying cop said. Don't you have eyes?
