Every time they find those good Samaritans the internet does a deep dive and finds some dirt on them. Not worth it, stay hidden dude
Not to mention the guy being arrested suing the officer and the other guy.
Yeah this looks like this could be a questionable arrest. Stay hidden guy. If the guy that got arrested decides to sue you the police will refuse to testify on your behalf. Stay anonymous .
Look deeper, most of the time that stuff just isn't real and made to slander a good name.

@@bobroberts2371 How bizarre he arrested that elderly black man for no reason.
There is a truck with a license plate. Shouldn’t be hard to find him. He probably just wanted to help and leave without a a big fanfare. Kudos to him.
Exactly - the police can't find him even though his plates on on film?
I was surprised the officer just didn't ask him to hang around a bit. Once he got the suspect in the car, he could have thanked him properly, and let him return to his life unbothered by media.
@@DM-ur8vcthey can’t just run license plates like people think anymore. Like 14 years ago it changed across the country.
@ltme4134
What are you even talking about?
That wouldn't be good form and a probably violation of the 4th and/or 5th amendment. Police can run plates for traffic violations and suspicion of warrants but to look someone up for no criminal or pertinent reason, even to say thank you, is an invasion of privacy.
Leave the man alone, he doesn't want to be part of court case, he has been thanked by thousands, real hero!

I had 2 citizens help me when i was fighting with a drunk guy in the middle of a busy road. They both stopped and blocked north and south traffic with their trucks, and got out and helped me handcuff the suspect. That was 4 years ago, and i never found out who they were. Big thanks to those that help when we're in need.
If your a real officer heres a question. What would you do if that person then sued you and the 2 people that helped. You would get qualified immunity while the 2 good citizens wouldn't.
Some states have laws protecting citizens that help law enforcement @@joekev27
@@joekev27 they would get immunity also because they are acting under the direction of a LEO. It falls under the citizen arrests exemptions. If you didn't know, a citizen arrest can only be made under 3 circumstances: a felony was committed in their presence. They have reasonable suspicion that a person just committed a felony (ie. a male comes running out of an apt followed by a female screaming and pointing that said male just SA'd her). And lastly under the direction of a LEO. In my incident they blocked traffic and asked if I needed help, and I said yes. They are now helping me under my direction and legally protected.
since they may not know why your fighting people in the street... they arent helping you...
they are helping the citizen... not you... with witnesses a bully is often forced to behave... and by law if they are restrainted you should stop being violent and simply do you job... stop fighting people for no dang reason...
