I'll be interested to see if KH on Steam has much impact on modding. I could be wrong but I dont think Square's gonna be cool enough to enable workshop support (the big reason why Steam is a god-tier platform for modding), which means fundamentally it's the same as EGS. If workshop support is enabled, however, that'll be huge for the scene and an active reason to buy it on Steam even if (like me) someone already has it on EGS. My fingers are crossed for workshop support (even if my wallet is in a corner crying)

So, random comment, but If you're unsatisfied with some things in canon, particularly the female cast, I suggest you read "KH: Sea-Change of Fate". In it, Kairi breaks from her script at the end of "KH 1", joining Sora, Donald and Goofy in their adventures. BTW, "Breaking the script" isn't an exaggeration. The Fates, from "Hercules", comment on how she broke multiple prophecies when she decided not to stay at Traverse Town, gaining her Keyblade (Naminé gains one too, btw). Oh ! And the Disney characters FINALLY become useful and actually likable.
Now, a few warnings:
-The author uses some elements from the manga, so don't be surprised at some heavier takes on the story;
-Marluxia is a pedophile;
-There's some polygamy (and the author is open to multiple forms of sexuality), but it actually contributes for multiple characters' development;
-Axel and Xion are officially recognized as trans in the series (on a personal note, I could actually see that as canon, kinda wished it was, I may ask the author if I could use the trans perspective);
-You'll find Aqua's ship in this fic to be...unique. But personally, I could see it too. I ship Cortana and MasterChief. Can't really judge after that;
-Not sure if there's something else I should tell you, because I can only think of good things, and those are a surprise I want you to find and experience for yourself.
