Normally, I don't pat my fries after washing them with water. I actually dust them with rice flour and do a quick toss before frying them. They don't burn, nor do they stick. Just needs a longer time to cook that's all.

First of all me personally I would have caramelized the onions also salting the fries along with the seasoning you desire will make it taste better for the fries I would have hit him with some olive oil then bakes them but frying is just fine too and I also would have put some bacon on the burger I feel like I would have done 70/30 and added some more vegetables like salted tomato and lettuce
Lovely lovely bro.... Oklahoma style🤓... Try putting both buns on top of the patties to help slightly steam the toasted bread for additional flavor and different texture... Great work.. Love the work!
