That tank is sooo nice! The corals look great, one of coolest setups I’ve ever seen (on screen). Hope I can see this setup in real life one day. Thanks for sharing! ✌🏼
I shop the other location but this tank is so amazing I'll drive to the Orlando store every once in a while just to take it in.Thanks for taking the time to walk us through the tank. This tank inspired me to start my own 20g nano reef tank. WWC has been wonderful to help me get started.
I feel like it needs another couple of mangroves in there but that's just me. It's more of a "coral lagoon with one lone mangrove" than a "mangrove lagoon" to my eye. If I had the resources to have a tank like this I'd probably have a good half of it just filled with mangroves and macro algae to really get that "wild, overgrown lagoon" aesthetic. I just like plants! Also I feel like the diversity of marine algae sometimes goes underappreciated in this hobby. But with corals being the star of the show, and this being a show tank to show off their coal right in the front of the store, it makes a lot of sense that they have it set up the way they do and is for sure, a beautiful tank!
By far the most interesting tank I've ever seen and one of the most beautiful. Only critique I really have is I wish it had external overflows, absolutely hate internal overflows on ALL tanks. Also I wish they had a yellow spot light in the mangrove so it wouldn't look so blue and more green.
External overflows would obstruct their ability to get around the back of the tank, but I certainly agree with you on the tree lighting - I think I discussed it with someone and they said they had plans to put a dedicated light over the tree for that purpose
Wow, I have been waiting for an update on this Beauty. It keeps getting better and more awesome. Thanks Jake for an excellent Update. WWC guys just Rock.
I was just there a week ago before the holiday and got a couple sweet sps, that lagoon always distracts me lol. Yall should do a video on the massive sps tank they have on the back wall
no strong opinion one way or the other, I've had K pretty high without ill effects but I don't dose it specifically anymore, just haven't seen the need (in my tanks)
@@ReefBuildersVideo Thank you so much for the response! I was mainly asking because of the newer seachem vibrant salt... by default it mixes to about 500-600 ppm K @ 35 ppt
The striped tang is going crazy 0:17 because he was filmed by reef builders. I also exited about the reef tank. But bro, I never go just inside, i would get in trouble for sure. I suppose, worldwide corals just don't care about. "Anyway, this guy went always straight into the tank like a newfoundland dog into the sea. We just can't do antything against it, anyway...." :-D By the way, any bristle worms inside? :-)
What kind of flow is in that tank? As far as I could see I only saw a couple of MP60s and whatever the return was pushing, which if you see anything WWC does you know is not a terribly large amount of flow. Way back when I had a chance to conquer an 5 foot by 6 foot tank peninsula tank, and one of the problems I dealt with was getting the flow I wanted with limited areas. Sure I could have throw a crap ton of money at it and put 12 vortechs on the back wall (I did have 5) , but compared to this tank at roughly 1/4 the size, it seems they figured something out that I couldn't.
Attention, new service @WWC - reef walking! But before, they need to put in few small sharks. On serious side - imagine this tank after two-three more years..
At 5:30 what mushroom is that , the one you collected at solomon islands? I have the same one in my tank have 4 of em. Gave 1 of em to my budy who runs better light than me and its bubbles grew to the size of the og one..
When you went collecting in the Solomon Islands, did u need a permit? I really want to dive and collect. I do it in Florida for soft, but really want to collect some leathers and stuff. I heard you can in Australia? Is there anywhere I can do it? Thankyou in advance.
Hello, could you put the subtitles in Spanish? I am from Spain and I understand a little English and there are expressions that I do not understand. Thank you and amaizing tank!
Love and watch all your vids Jake, but i have one question that i've always wondered, do you like or find any of the crazy blastos interesting at all? I noticed you don't ever give them much love, what gives yo?
I absolutely love Blastomussa, but with few exceptions I perceive most blasto wellsi as 'dead man walking' since they can do great for a long time, but they certainly seem to die out in typical reef tanks. However I have had a strain of B. merleti for over 20 years so I pay more attention to those strains.
I'm not sure the placement is very clever at all, so many of the corals placed next to one another will totally nuke each other when they're a bit bigger. It might have been better to base the placement on real reefs
WWC handles more corals than just about any retailer, probably more than some collectors and wholesalers so have a little faith in their coral placement experience
The fact that the lights can grow SPS at that height really goes to show that you do not need to BLAST your corals with PAR at low depths

Dany your new aquarium it’s a mini version of this aquarium haha you need put q mangrove in your new tank !!!!!! Haha

Get a planted tank then.
@@turbocpt1 or he could just get a reef tank with multiple mangroves...
I get a dirty look when my kids tab the glass at my LFS, but Jake is knee high into a tank.
I get dirty looks when my son steps foot in the LFS.

Incredible. Thanks for the tour Jake
I love seeing how good a tank can be when the basics are done well.
Nothing more complicated than it needs to be and the results are amazing.
A whole new level of amazing..... my favorite reef I’ve seen to date.
Having seen this in person as well, your vid is still incredible. Thanks for putting this together.
Wow, I have been waiting for an update on this Beauty.

WWC guys just Rock.
I've always wanted to see a more indepth video of this tank, thank you. So good mate, hope you kept all your toes. 👍
Very pretty, you can see the growth between the 2 videos that they did
Channeling some Bob Ross. Respect!
happy little clouds
Quite the birds eye view! Thanks for the content!
What an Amazing tank! Those corals are off the scale and I love how compact the mangrove tree is, must be getting lots of light.
Love the idea with glass being much taller than water line. It's not a ref tank, it's a reef pond!
So cool to see this. Thanks Jake for bringing it buddy...Wish you and all here and at WWC happy 2021.
That thing kills everything! The lagoon of the lagoons :D Great video!
It was very cool getting to see that in person. You’re braver than I for getting in. I would have had to sign my house over if I fell in there.
World wide corals honestly has some really awesome tanks!
that tank is so unique and amazing i love the lagoon style with mangroves, insane corals also
Love that tank!
Thank you so much for another great video. All the best for 2021 and happy reefing

That tank is spectacular!
That mangrove tree looks grey under all those blues!!! Glad you didn’t trip while tiptoeing thru that gorgeous tank
Mr Tendril is back at it :)
amazing tank. verry good
Just off for a paddle at the beach. 🤣 That is a superb aquarium with some stunning corals.
Can't believe no one screamed at you when you grabbed and leaned on the tank.
Incrível... Este reef está magnífico 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
That is one hell of a tank... 😍😍 its Amazing how much effort they put into this master piece.
I love WWC. There's no place like it.
magnifique ! cotes: for this (in-tank)presentation . hahahaha true !

Beautiful, how many PAR for the lagon surface ? (for LPS)
What is your opinion on potassium levels in reef tanks? Have you seen any problems in the high ranges (550-600 ppm)?

I was waiting for Jake to step into a bristle worm
Same, id be way to scared of getting stabbed.
Great video! The intro music was awesome, who was that?
Hey! Somebody call security. Some guy took off his shoes and jumped in the mangrove tank!
Beautiful !

Awesome video! I'm surprised you were in that tank bare foot and wasn't afraid of bristle worms. Was that a reef octopus KS100 kalk stirrer?
that sounds right on the KS
@@ReefBuildersVideo Pretty incredible that the little KS100 can handle that massive tank!
Just between us i got to go to the grow room and hand pick a piece, soo nice
bristle worms in between the piggy toes 😂
Amazing tank! I really like this idea of tank, that you can watch from above, but tbh i dont like the corals, i think there is 2 much green colour :)
Hmm with no skimming I wonder what they are keeping the NO3 and PO4 levels at?
why dont u get a gopro so u can put the camera under water bro?
Awesome video :)
Did you ask WWW what's the par reading on the new Gen 5 rations on the Lagoon tank?

Tens of thousands 😂

Too much lol!!
At least a couple hundred
