Thanks for coming in Mokyi. I really enjoyed hearing your experiences. I'm going to post the data that I got after the video was released. (One that we spoke of privately)
They are super low maintenance plants to grow, the naturally balance out your aquarium water while providing your fish and shrimp with shelter. They're super beginner-friendly and easily adapt to saltwater, freshwhich, and brackish which makes them the perfect plant for any Aquarium. We have ahipped out thousands of plants and have never heard any major issues from customers. 😊
Enjoyed watching I've just set up a mangrove/macro Algae display it's early days yet I've gone full spectrum grow light for the mangrove and macro Algae, and an Hydra Ai32HD for the soft corals and selected critters and gobies its a challenge to get the balance of nutrients I am currently experimenting with ferts your display looks Amazing thanks for sharing your thoughts and experiences 😀

Plants transpire from their leaves and are also capable of foliar feeding, which is to absorb nutrients through their leaves. That would explain why even though its not required to mist the leaves of a mangrove they seem healthier when you do. Also spraying water might increase humidity which helps as well. I don't have mangroves in my tank but Inappropriate Reefer could test this by instead of dosing the tank when the leaves turn yellow he can try foliar feeding to directly address the nutrient issue. This is a pretty advanced hydroponic growing strategy. It's used to dose chemicals right away. I was told if you try to dose through the roots it takes 3 days, but foliar feeding is instant. Also there's a thing called nutrient burn if you dose too much. You should do your own research first, but you try to isolate the specific nutrient deficiency based on the color of the leaves. You start foliar feeding while keeping everything else the same and if you see improvement you increase dosing that chemical in the normal way and it doesn't turn yellow at all.
Mangrove plants grow incredibly slow. While there is a slight chance of something like this happening come on this would take decades especially with a small plant. We have shipped out thousands of plants from 7 inches to 3 feet and have never had any issues from any customer regarding the tank breaking. 😊
Thank you for having me on! I can’t wait for your video with other mangrove keepers and the true Mangrove Master himself, Mr Julian Sprung!! 🌳

What light are you using over the mangrove? What fertilizer pods are you using in the sand bed. Thanks
I will ask mokyi for you

What species is the large soft coral on the right? The ones the clowns appear to be hosted by? Thanks in advance:)
That’s a standard finger leather under higher light 😊
