I am SO EXCITED for you!!! The nib on this one is beautiful to write with. I hope you will get lots of compliments but more importantly, you will enjoy writing with it!

My first pen purchase of 2023 was a LMZ Prugna (Plum) with gold trim and a fine nib. The company continues to refine their design. The fine nib is broader than most of my fines, and a fairly smooth writer. All their pens are numbered, but the etching is now on the cap between the clip and the cap band, which gives the beautiful material of the barrel more opportunity to shine. I think it's one of the most comfortable pens I've ever used. The grip section really fits my hand, so it's great for long writing sessions. It doesn't wobble if I post it, but it's long enough in my hand that I write with it unposted. I haven't had any issues with it; nothing but joy! Thanks for comparison with other pens.

Thank you so much for watching and for sharing your experience with the beautiful LMZ! I had my eye on the prugna because I love purple! Im glad to hear another long term user’s perspective. I think this pen writes very well. The only problem is getting distracted by the beauty!

@@KitchenCounterCrafts It's like writing with a piece of fine jewelry with all that purple chatoyancy going on! So far I've used De Atramentis Alexander Hamilton ink and Noodler's Black Swan in Australian Roses, which both go very well with the rich plum color.

@@wendywander7 Oh Wow! I have not seen the DA Alexander Hamilton ink! I have the Black Swan Australian Roses and I love it as a go-to ink, especially in my Purple Wampum Ahab Pen :)
I bet that is just a dream to look at and write with. Take it outside in the sunshine and jot down a page or two but be warned, the beauty of it might distract you and the writing task may take longer! 😊
I think that the whole slowing down process of fountain pens is what I love most about them. They make everyday writing seem extra special!

In February, I preordered the Leonardo Momento Zero Blue Aloha numbered edition. I’m anxiously awaiting info on the release date.
BTW… my Kaweco Student 60s olive came in today! 👏🏻

Woooohoooo!!! I’m excited for you! The blue aloha is beautiful and will be equally as distracting! Plus, I think all of those are 14K nibs, right?

Thank you for an honest review. The nib flaking is worrisome.

Yes - but the owner said he waited too long to let Leonardo know! If someone notices early on, I am sure they would fix that, being such a small artisan company!
