I love watching you both enjoying your recipes, and your enthusiasm is fantastic! So pleased that you're continuing with this format, and your jokes. 😁 Stay safe.
Love these awe inspiring videos. I’m confused with the veg Samphire. I’ve heard that it goes with fish but would love to have other options. Keep it going guys, you are amazing x
This was really good. Legend has it, that the ladies of the night in Italy would finish their shift, then go home and make a meal of pasta and sauce, and anything they could find in their cabinet. Hence the term, Putanesca. 🍝
Ketchup with fish pie Nooooooooo!! You could have a go at making some gnocchi (potatoes, flour and salt) and go mad with the sauces. Looking forward to the live shows whilst in lockdown. Good work lads!
If you were to put a little baking soda in the water of the 1st recipe it will make the outside of the potato nice and fluffy so that it will crisp up well when it's pound fried or roasted in the oven.
A burger to me is just two slices of some sort of bread, (with fairly even sides as if it's elongated, then it's a sub) with something hot between them such as a patty, a portobello or some peri peri jackfruit etc. Obviously, if you then let it go cold and eat it, it's still a burger, just a cold one!
Yes, they should have used capers, garlic, no onion, no wine and no spinach ... no potatoes ;) They could have said 'Puttanesca inspired'. Well, we can give it a try anyway ;) ruclips.net/video/Z59zqJjUG4w/видео.html
*sigh* It's great you make these videos about vegan food, the food looks amazing, and it's great to be creative and try new things, BUT - words mean something. You can't just call a pickle a tomato, just because you feel like it. Puttanesca is not tomato sauce. It's tomato sauce WITH capers, olives and garlic. Anchovies are omitted from the vegan recipes (of course) AND THE NEAPOLITAN VERSION. But olives are an essential part of Puttanesca and not just some replacement of anchovies. Also, capers are vegan, so there's no reason for you to omit that. Your "Indian shepherd's pie" is not shepherd's pie. Shepherd's pie should have mashed potatoes on top. No mashed potatoes, no shepherd's pie. What's wrong with aloo bharta as topping? The vegetarian/vegan version is called Gardener's pie. Yours is more a version of the Finnish/Swedish "sailor's steak".
