    Excellent cold-war movie with a marvelous cast. Lee Marvin, Karl Mauldin, Michael Ansara, Charles Bronson to go along with a fine who-has-the-tape plot that keeps you on edge until the very end. Tyrone Power and Patricia Neal and Hildegarde Neff were great in their roles. A movie well worth watching again. Joe S

      A couple suggestions: when you can, please watch the movie "The Glass Wall" from 1953, and also the 1951 movie "He Ran All the Way" with John Garfield and Shelley Winters (who was once married to the star of "The Glass Wall)."
      Both movies are currently up on RUclips.
      I was blown away by both and thought that they were deserving of Oscars.

    I remember seeing this film on NBC's first season of "Saturday Night at the Movies" in the early 60's. They also showed Hemingway's "The Sun Also Rises" with Tyrone Power, Ava Gardner, Errol Flynn, Eddie Albert, Mel Ferrer, and future "Chinatown" producer Robert Evans. Also, "King of the Khyber Rifles", with Tyrone Power, Terry Moore, and Richard Egan. NBC had bought a batch of Twentieth Century Fox movies to show in prime time at 9 pm. A big experiment that paid off with good ratings.

      Taste is a matter of opinion, of course, but … You’ve got to be kidding?! 😉 With respect, I doubt Neff would have become famous in the US because not only was she another blonde in a sea of dozens in that era, but unlike Patricia Neal - with a few exceptions- she wasn’t a very good actor. Neal, with that voice, was irresistible IMO.

    • @Hany-fu1vc
      @Hany-fu1vc 16 дней назад +1

      @fifthbusiness1678 As you have just said, that is a matter of opinion, but if you really have a taste, you could have easily seen that Hildegaard Neff played a much more convincing role than Patricia Neal. As for being just another blonde, there were many blondes and each one had her own talent and proved herself in many different ways starting with Carole Lombard, Ann Harding, Paulette Goddard, Ginger Roger to Lana Turner, Marilyn Monroe, all the way to Brigitte Bardot and Yvette Mimieux who were French but achieved great success even though they were just another blondes. Learn to think deep before coming to write laughable foolishness.
