if you take a light tarp with you and always something in front of the fire so that the heat reflects back on yourself, this way is the best. I never sleep in a tent. remember and tamed extra warm blankets etc. so it doesn't matter how cold it is max minus 20 to 30 degrees I've been outside. Looking forward to the winter with lots of meat and cooking outside
This is survival, like some ppl say camping is when you have a tent, but survival is when you have no shelter and you have to make yourself a shelter to survive and a fire to survive the cold temperatures ahead of you

I just watched a youtube vid where the guy said it was -45 but a 1 inch deep creek had no ice at all in it. Then he set up a hot tent on a rocky icy creekside with an opened grassy perfectly flat area right behind it and when he left the stove with 2 inch tall legs had not melted any of the snow underneath or around it. i get the comment about him getting up and the snow everywhere but on him but we need to realize he has to get up and set up the camera for the waking up shot, hence no snow on him. may not have been super exciting but i believe he actually was somewhat authentic. and all the hate about making a spoon in a bushcraft video instead of bringing one. do u tards know what the term BushCraft means?

Одного нашего видеоблогера чуть было не посадили в тюрьму, за то что он сдал на анализ дорогую колбасу из дорогого магазина Москвы. Он сдавал колбасу в лабораторию в другой стране. Так вот, в ближайшем магазине крупы, сахар, чай. Точно так же как во время Второй мировой войны. В России ничего не меняется там, где далеко от Москвы. Поэтому нужна миска, ложка, чайник. А не ветка для хот-догов. Конечно он мог привезти в лес не только сосиски, но и стейк мраморной говядины или красную рыбу, на доходы с просмотров роликов, или просто если он богатый человек. Но он снимает более реалистичное для россиян видео, в ближайшем к лесу магазине деревни никогда не было таких продуктов. Ты не понимаешь масштабы и неосвоенность земель России. На ближайшие 500 километров на Севере России нет универсамов.
There is NO WAY you stayed overnight. Nice video but please Do Not mislead people. Younger enthusiasts might follow what you do and actually die overnight. 1. You do not have enough bowes underneath you to keep your ground insulated 2. You DO NOT have enough firewood for heat 3. There is NO way you can sleep in that sleeping bag with your boots on. You can survive 14 days without a tent, if you take food with you, & the ability to start fires & cut firewood. Make a shelter & keep improving it, you can most definitely survive! Someone that is used to everything given to them will have a tough time, if they don't learn how to survive! You'll need to learn how to make shelter first, then learn to get heat & fuel for heat, & learn to get water most important. A human being could live a couple days without food, but, you MUST HAVE WATER & shelter the most important. You'll have to learn to hunt for food, and make weapons to get food.

A human being could live a couple days without food, but, you MUST HAVE WATER & shelter the most important. You'll have to learn to hunt for food, and make weapons to get food.
