How did you get both screens side by side in OBS. Do I need to change video settings to twice as wide as my standard size? e.g. My screen is 1920 x 1200, so do I change video settings in OBS to 3840 x 1200?

Do you know if there’s a way to make an effect or something that would automatically crop the webcam? I record smaller clips and have to crop and align every time I want to show my webcam. Would be nice to just drop an effect.

Hey quick question. I have been trying to do this for a while now but, I have noticed with other vids (which they usually use primere to edit) that when they import the double wide clip, its bigger than the canvas resolution. But, with davinci it resizes the footage so it can fit the entire double wide clip. Its a problem because if you resize it to fit the full frame than aren't you losing quality on your screen recording and webcam recording? Just wanted to ask because while having this is nice, idk if its worth losing quality over.

As far as I know there is no quality lose.... Resolve is just scaling down the footage to fit it in the canvas assuming you want to see the entire frame. So when you scale it up you aren't technically losing any quality on final export etc.

@@footballtalk4857 I figured it out it was just something broken with the cropping tool
