    Ehrmagerd I made this for dinner tonight. I don't have digestion problems so I just included the whites of the scallions and the leeks for the extra flavour and didn't want to waste them. My 3 year old DEVOURED his portion. Will definitely be adding this to my regular roation! Thank you guys so much!

    Thank you so much for this low FODMAP recipe. My 22 year old daughter has Crohn's disease. I'm trying to convince her to eat more plant based but because she is often in a Crohn's flare up, her gut cannot handle many vegetables. So glad to find a vegan recipe she can hopefully eat without causing her pain!! Thanks so much for great recipes, you are blessings!!

    Absolutely love a good pasta bake! Thanks guys! Never ever heard of the term ‘fodmap’ but gut issues happen more regularly with me lately when eating away from home....I ate one slice of raisin toast at the qantas Lounge when travelling the other morning and had stomach problems all day....probably should just stick with veges/salads when out.

    Gonna try this! A video on how to get kids on board when going vegan would be great, or how, in general to convince kids that leeks, mushrooms and lentils aren’t evil. I have three girls, two of which would survive going vegan, the third would probably starve. 😆 We can go vegetarian easy, but vegan is a whole nother story. Advice appreciated? We are currently on a “normal but healthy” diet, we eat meat eggs dairy etc. How do I transition everyone? 😬

    Finally someone uploads a vegan, creamy pasta recipe WITHOUT cashews (or tofu)! I'm allergic to both. And also, please make more low FODMAP recipes because I find it so difficult to find easy, vegan low FODMAP recipes. When I first started eating whole food plant based (by slowly incorporating legumes, fiber grains and veggies) I felt great. My gut health felt like it was the best it had ever been (I've been suffering with IBS for many years)... Until this year when I started experience painful bloating, and just really upset stomach. I don't need to go into details. It's mentally draining to not have a good gut health especially when I study at uni because I'm worried about my stomach at school. Because of this, I've started to eat fish and eggs again because it seems like my stomach can't handle too much fiber etc. I'd love to be able to eat 100% whole food plant based again so I'd be really happy to see more low FODMAP recipes!

    • @88Mikje123
      @88Mikje123 5 лет назад

      have you tried gluten free vegan? I've read a blog once of someone with the same issue and she started eating more protein and fats and less carbs (also gluten free) and that worked for her

    • @Luckygirlme111
      @Luckygirlme111 5 лет назад

      @@88Mikje123 I have tried it in different periods of my life and I do think it helps, but also when I start eating gluten again I don't really have much issues either... At least not right away. Sometimes I feel like I tolerate gluten well, and sometimes not. But I honestly think I'm gonna try going gluten free once again and maybe only eat gluten if there's not a gluten free option available :)

      It’s gluten free in Canada.

    • @boredlord6575
      @boredlord6575 5 лет назад

      Yes it is, because it is made out of certified gluten-free oats in North America. Oatly, sold in Germany, is only considered „low gluten“ because it does contain, due to the manufacturing process using different oats than in the NA, between 100-20 parts per million of gluten. Only products with 20ppm and less are considered gluten-free and “should” be consumed by people suffering from celiac disease

      It's low FODMAP, which is a diet followed by people with food sensitivities or intolerances, because certain foods cause issues in their digestive tract, intestines, leading to uncomfortable or painful conditions like nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, constipation, bloating, gas, diarrhea.

    • @theBenson5
      @theBenson5 5 лет назад +7

      I worked for a GI physician and he would often recommend this diet to patients with Irritable Bowel Syndrome or other gastrointestinal irritation. The diet only limits carbs that are "fermentable oligo-, di-, monosaccharides and polyols." (FODMAP). FODMAPs draw water into your digestive tract, which could make you bloated. If you eat too much of them, they can hang around in your gut and ferment. For most people, FODMAPs aren't a problem until you eat too many of them, but some people are more sensitive to them. For those people, a low FODMAP diet can help with symptoms of bloating, gas, and GI pain. You can google "FODMAP" to see what foods have a high amount of them if you are interested.
