  • NVIDIA's new mid-range GeForce RTX 4070 GPU offering has just hit the shelves! Sporting a cut-down version of the AD104 GPU built atop the "Ada Lovelace" architecture, with 5888 CUDA cores instead of 7680 CUDA cores as found on its bigger brother, the RTX 4070 Ti, ALKtech gets in on the launch day excitement by unboxing a RTX 4070 graphics card that comes with a factory overclock to boot - the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4070 WINDFORCE OC 12G. Sporting a WINDFORCE cooler design with alternate spinning fans and direct touch copper heat pipes to keep temperatures at bay, the WINDFORCE OC 12G represents the entry-level in Gigabyte's GeForce RTX 4070 product stack.

Dlss 3.0, size, power, drivers, vram over 8gb
      Downsides:
It’s a cheaper 3080 with more vram kinda
With that in mind I actually choose to buy one

This card will last much longer than the 3080 bc the 4070 does not draw 350 watts in load and does not heat up to 100 degrees, as it did with the 3080. Its dimensions are minimal, more memory, and also dlss 3.

@@user-kh7mw6te9p 3080 is 320 watts. 12GB is an insult for 2023. Good luck with it. About the heating. Only FE cards had issues had memory heating issues. Most AIB partners did well with their heatsink design.
