In my game i think its called deathblow vitaar? not defiant silence. When I looked up defiant silence all the site4s show the stats the same as the "deathblow vitaar
Of you haven't figured it out yet, the Thorn of Misfortune spellblade is originally found in Treviso. You can get one from the crow faction vendor at rank 2 i believe m (might be 3), and then there is a 2nd one you can purchase from a vendor in town. So if you are playing a fresh mage and haven't made THE decision yet, you can get to green really early in the game.
I run something similar to this, but the armour I use is the researcher's coat with at least rare rarity. The effect gives you leach and which keeps you healthy enough to spam your blast abilities. I am about 99% through the game and have the core pieces and basically if I use my x, y, or rt buttons on a hostile npc then either it is a one tap or I messed up. A lot of fun, the All-mothers copse amulet is stupidly easy to get and the armor is sold at Black Market and the faction shop.
I completed my nightmare run with this amulet, and you don't need the maw ring. Since tempest knocks down basically everything, and there is a talent you can spec into that gives you crit on knocked down targets it'll always crit anyways. Even against one enemy you have 100% uptime on tempest, and it'll set arcane bombs so fast you just spam heavy attacks. Never have to do light attacks ever again basically. Even when i played against dragons I had 100% uptime on tempest, as long as they stayed inside it that is :)
@@thanmg9703 You can basically just follow the same build outlined in the video, just make sure to pick up the 1 talent @maggru91 is talking about. It's on the bottom portion of the chart, near the node for the electric jump back/disengage ability if I remember correctly. Should be a major passive node.
@@grayfenix You still have 100% uptime on tempest, that hits and sets arcane bombs on the bosses with each hit over a duration. So you just spam heavy attacks.
Mordarim, what build would you make. If you were playing without companions, and on the hardest difficulty? What's something that has good damage but great staying power? I want to try something fun for my next playthrough. But for it to succeed I'll need an OP as possible middleground.
Without companions? Early game is going to be super hard. Later you can get infinite mana, leech, become super tanky and deal 9999 dmg every hit with a crit abusing build. I am at 28 currently on my playthrough and hitting 8000+ with every spell. But that requires specific items and a lot of skillpoints.
Do you happen to remember where you found the upgrades for the Amaranthine Loop? Been wanting to use it for a Stagger Warrior setup but which vendor has which items haven't been documented anywhere.
(Sadly i do not remember everything) I remember getting one in minrathous, i think in the catacombs. Should have been the 4th upgrade. The 3rd upgrade was on the rooftops above the canal chest in treviso, near the unique weapon chest in the middle of the map. The first two upgrades must have been in the forest, from the merchants in treviso and/or before all that during the initial quests.
I'm not sure if the crow vendor has it, but once you reach act 2, you will gain access to the black emporium, and the emporium will sell all of the faction vendor items of the city you didn't save. If the crow vendor has one, it will be there.
What class would you say is better warrior or mage? Specifically only really interested in reaper for warrior and mostly spell blade but I like all the mage classes.
Anyone got a recommendation for a good Medium armor to go with this? I keep searching but so far, outside of defense, nothing seems to hold a candle to the Veil Jumper Leathers Light Armor.
@@Mordarim The mission to get the necromancer? Or Taash? I remember picking up some armor on those missions but they seemed lackluster to me, not really fitting the build. Or maybe I missed something. EDIT- Oh wait, I think I see. You talking about Garb of Kinship? I don't have that one yet but I just saw about it on another vid.
Nice to see early mid and end section but you only let see a few nodes unlocked not the skill at full. Wich nodes you need to focus early, mid, end. You got a path for us?
Some things i missed or want to add afterwards:
Helmet: Defiant Silence - Nothing comes close, best crit helmet.
Combos:
1. Basic - Light > Light > Light > Charged heavy
2. VS armor - Charged heavy spam
3. Quick pop - Light > Light > Light > Heavy
4. Spellcombo Burst - Time Slow > Tempest > Basic
5. Spellcombo Basic - Tempest > Quick pop
6. Spellcombo Free Burst - Time Slow (upgrade) > Tempest > Rift > Rift > (Storm Surge >) Tempest > Quick Pop
7. Spellcombo AOE - Time Slow (upgrade) > Tempest > Meteor > Meteor > Quick Pop > Tempest > Meteor > Quick Pop
hey man something else thatd be helpful for these is a full zoom out to show what the tree looks like
@@calebmatthews7268sure! I cut it out by accident. Will include it next time
actually the best helm would be the one that reduces cooldown for companions skills by 50% on detonation allowing to spam detonations
Rift?

Can you share your build pls? Trying to sustain the ring debuff is kind of annoying and which companions do u use?

The big damage sponges are bosses, that you cant knock down.

What are the best factions for this build?
Went with the veil bois but it really does not matter much.

Nice vid man, which vendor is the one you upgrade mages gambit?
That the faction vendor in minrathous
Shadow dragons 👍🏽
Help , my crow perch somehow is not working on void blade, guaranteed crit hit from black city does not regain mana at all.
Can you use spell blade the whole time or just as a ultimate? Or spell blade is a class?
Class. It uses the orb and dagger + spells.
i choose lucanis instead of neve so which companion should i go for instead of neve
Bella
@ thanks
I cant find upgrades for Crow's perch medallion. Stuck at blue. Is this because I didnt choose to save Treviso?

Mage. I am literally steamrolling the game with an improved version of this build. I will 100% get it out tomorrow, maybe tonight if i push it.
@ take your time! Don't rush the enjoyment out of it!! Thanks for the reply bro

@Mordarim sorry, what I mean is I don't see wich nodes to take when I am leveling. Thanks for guide!
My Slayer hits for 2.5k and I’m staggering non stop.
what difficulty is this
Lvl 25 keep going
"Endgame" build at level 25 lol

It just works.
Which pronouns does my character need to identify as to properly use this build?
you know you use pronouns right now, right?
He/him, ideally 4 foot 3 with a purple beard.
