A friend is taking me for a Christmas treat to see the decorations in Oxford Street and then to Soho where I lived in the 60’s if I am strong enough but your tour made me so very happy. Again, thank you.

I'm a Canadian / Brit dual national living in the UK, the Canadian consulate is actually called the Canadian High Commission as we're still in the commonwealth, or just Canada House.
For any Canadians living in the UK, they sell the Royal Canadian Legion poppies in there, might be late now for this year, but they sell them every year in the run up to Remerance Day.
There will also be quite a few Canadians marching tomorrow for Rememberance Sunday in London amd around the UK, both current serving and veterans alike who like me served in the UK military, the Canadian High Commissioner will also be laying a wreath at the Cenotaph as will all the other high commissioners from their respected high commissions here in the UK.
There's a lovely gallery inside Canada House, they often do cultural Canadian events inside too.
Huge respect for sticking up for the blind veteran and showing respect!

John, thank you for once again, being the voice of decency and respect. The spammers are truly vultures circling around HG waiting for a rare or unusual moment to occur so they can swoop in and intrude on a private moment or record a mishap. They truly don’t understand respect, even when you tried to explain. You tried. 😢
Otherwise this was a perfectly wonderful video today with an amazing walk through Piccadilly, Trafalgar Square, and our beloved Horse Guards.
    Have a lovely Remembrance Day.

Massive respect to you, John, for defending the veteran who was allowed to touch the horse. Also massive respect to the Trooper who interacted with the veteran. He was very alert regarding how his horse was behaving towards the man. You were spot on regarding the spammers and I agree with everything you said to them. You were very calm and respectful although she was not towards you. I'm dumbfounded she had the nerve to call you "racist." Sheer ignorance. Pretty sure the Trooper listened to your conversation; he looked pretty stern. This video certainly did "end with a bang, not a whimper." Excellent work.

The act of wearing a poppy is a personal choice, and individuals should not feel compelled to do so. Wearing a poppy does not confer superiority over others. Bullying others into wearing one shows your true character. Philanthropy and donating to a cause should ideally be conducted discreetly, without the necessity of displaying a symbol. You are a tattletale aka a rat. If you are brownnosing to Hcav for whatever reason, remember, nobody likes nor trusts a rat. The actions of others are not your concern. Engaging in daily name-calling and arrogant belittling behavior to strangers and people in general suggests underlying issues related to ego and self-esteem. The individuals in question are not causing you any direct harm; therefore, it is unclear why one would seek to damage their reputation or hinder their ability to earn a living. They possess the same rights to participate as you do. Is it possible that you feel insecure, fearing that they may detract from your audience or revenue generated from your channel? The focus has shifted from the original subject matter to a personal vendetta against those who do not interfere with your pursuits. Such behavior can be characterized as petty. You call them spammers yet you do "the exact the same thing as they do" whether or not it is for 1 hour or 8 hours, it is the same. Mind your own business bc your channel really sux now. I'ts boring, both you and your content. Same route, same phone boxes, same narrative, yada, yada, yada. You don't truly care about the horses and troopers, you only care about the money and it shows clearly. Regroup, reevaluate and revamp or find something else to do. The other channels, without the ugly commentary, have a nice organic feel that provide a true feeling of actually being there.

I love how you stand up for what's right and decent. For that, and your adorable cheeky wit, is why I'm addicted to your channel. My father would have liked you, and that is the highest praise in my eyes. My father passed when I was 29, I'm 71 now, and I still think before I do something, "Would Dad be proud of me for this?". He taught me never to just stand by and do nothing if you see something is wrong, because then you are just as bad, and it's cowardly. If you can't physically do something, at least report it, everyone is capable of that. You have the best channel and a blessing for people such as myself who would love to travel, but can't due to physical limitations. You brighten my days, thank you. And as a mother-in-law to a (fabulous!) man in the service, I'd like to extend to the guards a thank you for their service, they're not appreciated and respected enpugh.

Great surprise opener . Enjoyed the detour. Troopers spot on today. Thank you as always, John , for being the respectful person you are. Appreciative of your respect for the retired officer being given the chance to interact with the horse. The Horse sensed the man's respect and seemed to equally enjoy the encounter. You are to be commended with addressing the rude spammer. You spoke truth to her and confronted her disrespect in a respectful manner. Kudos , John.

I respect and admire all the military but the Household Cavalry really still make me proud to be British and nowadays there are not many reasons to feel that. The spammers are typical of what not to be proud of they havnt a clue what their filming and I bet they know nothing about the history. Purely using them as a cash cow. I’m glad touching and getting too close is banned now or they would be taking film up the horses nostrils and posting that by now. What a contrast to your videos John you are an unashamed patriot and gentleman always interesting and frequently very witty and humorous with your observations. As well as not being afraid to call out disrespect to the Guards and Horses. Always a treat to watch your videos. Thankyou.

John, the buildings in London are so beautiful. It will be great if you can show them in your videos every now and again. Thanks.❤ John, I have to edit and add this bit....it's funny hearing you moan or kinda regret walking through trafalgar square etc when you were stuck in the crowd with the music! 😂 I know I shouldn't be adding stuff in again...but after watching the trooper let the blind person touch the horse for quite a while, I'm moved by his kindness. Do you notice that he actually told the man accompanying the blind person to step outside the box whilst the blind man was touching the horse. This was to show the other tourists that he was only making an exception for the blind person who thanked him and the horse afterwards. This just warmed my heart tremendously. Most of the troopers are very kind to special needs people and should deserve lots of respect from everyone. ❤

Im the type of person that would stand in their view and block what they are trying to film. Having a disabled Aunty, I am well versed from the time I was 4years old, standing and blocking the view of disrespectful people. Ive never used words, just my body. My aunty has since passed away, but Ill never forget the faces of those who stood and stared and pointed at her for decades.
They sound like the chinese aunties who have no respect for anyone or anything.
