I had that radio in my 2014 1500, I put in a 10" ATOTO carplay radio that was like $225 made a huge difference and it worked surprisingly well. That being said order it with the good screen.
I'm surprised you didn't mention that Ram is the only truck with Noise Canceling cabin that other trucks do not provide. You can notice the little square at 9:34 is what I'm referring to. A new 2024 Ford Lariat or any other truck does not have that. Just saying and this isn't just a base model. Obviously this is a quick package buy, things you complain about with MSRP don't compare when you can get those missing features instead of the random package they added here. Cool video to see the truck but you could do more research as a Vehicle Reviewer. Edit: You can custom build this same truck (Tradesman) with 5th Wheel prep, Adaptive Cruise, 8.4 Wireless Carplay, Snow Package (Dual 440 Alt. Block Heater. Clearance lights) for around this price. This dealership didn't do so cause they want those features to shine in their high trim levels they are up charging for. So the price for this truck that's custom built can be worth way more as a base then those extra little appearance packages and interior looks.
At a 15% discount this would be a sweet work truck or even if someone wants a base model for their fifth wheel. When GM decides to add z71sport and midnight edition to the lower trim dually it’s game over though.
My biggest gripe about my 22 tradesman is not having steering wheel controls for radio/phone. I just feel like they are pushing hands free everything and you would think that would be standard. It was on my 17 F350 xl 🤷🏼♂️
I think most people would consider this a pretty nice truck until they see the competition’s trucks. Between the price and the noticeably smaller cabs (front and back) I think at this point it’s going to be the diehard Ram fans buying the trucks.
Great video, I disagree on the 4:10 gear ratio. I have the 2020 tradesman 3500 4X4 with the HO Cummins with the 3:73 ratio and get 14 mpg while towing heavy. If you get the 4:10 you’re going to be down around 7mpg. I don’t tow in the mountains so when I go to Florida I’m on the I-10 which is pretty flat. So maybe if you tow in the mountains day in and day out maybe get the 4:10.
I don't understand why America's pricing is so wacky. Ford's up here are insane expensive 120k+ CAD for a lariat SRW. But I just bought my 2023 ram 3500 DRW Tradesman HO with 12inch screen, bigger fuel tank, better instrument cluster few other goodies etc for 86,0000Cad or 63700usd roughly.
Rams drop in trade in fast and hard. Similar to f150’s. My 23 f250 lariat cc HO diesel is still worth more for trade in than I paid for it in May. Chevys and gmc diesels drop about 9% more than Ford diesels as well first year. That’s a lot when you’re talking gmcs at $89,000.
Yep, my small local dealer has 7 ram diesels sitting months now. They can’t keep ford diesels in stock unless they’re XLT - no one wants to pay $74k for an xlt when you can get a lariat for $84k.
Its funny how people hates black trims in base model when some top trims they gave you gloss black trims which is basically you know black🤣 i get why people hate chrome but chrome won't make your truck look like a base model.
I thought gm offered the 13in display media center on all trim levels in 2024. Unless it’s only from ltz and up but pretty sure even the custom in the 2500 comes with it. But can’t get a custom in a 1 ton period.
Ram is definitely lacking in lots of areas. The truck price is nuts for what you get and if the blackout package was on that truck would most likely cost 82 or 83K which now you’re talking about Denali prices for a work truck. I’m not saying that Tradsman or Ram is a bad truck but, Stellantis is losing its mind.

Ram has went out of their mind. When I bought my 22 chevy custom a 22 tradesman was $9400 more. I couldn’t believe the price difference.

Great JB Review👍
Great review for 2024 tradesmen, Do they have 24 long horn DUALLY and do they sell 24 4500 and 5500 there?
I have a 2020 and 2022 ram 3500 dually Both are in the shop for engine repair

@@natehawkins2910 that may be true where you are from but my area gmc hold resale value the best and ram and ford are pretty darn comparable
@@hammertimebc1934 really? Here In Ohio it’s the opposite. What state?

By failing to step up their game year after year, all while raising prices to the stratosphere, Ram is chasing away even their most loyal customers.

I’ve always thought they should come out with a “Forman” package across all brands that’s has better seats,
appearance, tech bit with carpet delete
If you need all that in a work truck...
It's called a Denali 😂
Its better to buy this truck with the smaller screen radio because you can get an aftermarket replacement way cheaper just saying
Its funny how people hates black trims in base model when some top trims they gave you gloss black trims which is basically you know black🤣 i get why people hate chrome but chrome won't make your truck look like a base model.
“One of the best competitors” …and there’s only three total lol

You have to get an LT or higher trim to get the bigger screens. The WT and custom come with the previous generation interior.
76k for a base model dually work truck......I couldn't

Only a fool pays MSRP on these…
Got my 2024 3500 for $55,000
Made in mexcio and they still every expensive 😂 thought they where made in america since the lrice is too higg
80k for a 2010 truck 😂
