The comic takes place before the events of Season 1 and possibly before Season 2. Rick Season 3 > Doofus Jerry. Although season 1 Rick defeats Doofus Jerry thanks to stopping time or the numerous weapons built into Rick's space cruiser, capable of destroying the toughest types of metal (including Doofus Jerry's Big Robot). Rick got nerfed. He spent a lot of time on some robot that was easy to defeat. In fact, their battle could have ended at the first meeting. Rick's body is literally a weapon. He could just kill Doofus Jerry in a matter of seconds. I don't know what was going on in the minds of the comic's creators. Rick was presented poorly in power and intelligence. The ending of the comic (Doofus Jerry's death) is also strange.

@@azotimus Thank you for saying that, man. They had nerfed Rick a lot in the comics. What had happened there could have also been before the events of actual Rick and Morty. He additionally has a bulletproof barrier and other type of technology far more advanced than Doofus Jerry.

@@namedata But in the comic, it was Rick C-137 that was shown to us, since other Ricks from the Citadel called him C-137. Rick C-132 was killed in the "Ricknoning" + I think Rick didn't defeat Doofus Jerry even if he killed Big Worm (who killed Doofus Jerry). Everything happened by chance. Doofus Rick created Portal Juice as a quick way to get Jerry back to his family. Jerry drank the portal juice and vomited due to Jerry's Doofus punching him in the stomach. The juice turned into a portal, a worm came out of it and killed Doofus Jerry. But I don't think that Doofus Jerry lost to Doofus Rick and Jerry, although their participation was decisive for the victory.
