Take a look at the diagrams within the video it will say exactly which model and pin locatiion. Pin 1 is power so it needs to come from a distribution module under the dash on the pass side.
If your car already had heated seats all should work no problem. If you had no heating you will need the panel and to run wiring back to the modules. Not sure the depth of this project as most cars in my area come with heated seats standard and I never looked into it on the f10.

I'm sorry I wouldn't know how to wire that up except maybe making the oe control panel working in a different. It would take most likely a can simulator and similar signal generated voltage by the switch so you would have to measure that and try to recreate it.

Hey mate, looking to get memory seats fitted to my F10 LCI, it currently has semi auto seats, you have to move it backwards and forwards with a lever, but the back and base can be adjusted with buttons on the sides of the seat. Would I still need to add a power cable for this? Thanks
Yes but the LCI wiring is different and if you are in the UK the diagram may be even more different. Please download ista and verify with your vin options.

I would like to put these seats in my e39. Do you know if i would be able to with the wiring? I already have the bracket set up to install in my e39 i just need to get the wiring situated.
Undortunately no idea on F10 seats into am E39. You would be missing a can signal ... maybe a can emulator can be put in place but then again not sure sure if it can work stand alone.
You will need to add this pin. Best bet is to get an old cut up wiring harness from like an F series chassis and use that as spares, that way you can pull and cut what you need and splice in new wires. If your car does not have these pins they need to be added.
Part numbers of the pins were a pita to find. Easiest way is to buy an old e9x or e6x body harness and just de-pin what you need. One harness is good for endless projects.

Best of luck! Please do send an update once it's up and running. If any issues come up feel free to reach out, maybe I can help.
Well done mate! Have a comfort interior for my g31 and looking to get it installed aswell. Very helpful to see how BMW operates.
Good thing is there is lots of modularity in all of these cars so many things are relatively easy to figure out.
