      Good thing is there is lots of modularity in all of these cars so many things are relatively easy to figure out.

    I am missing 1 red wire and that 2 twisted wires orange and green, I took them out from the other car, re-pinned them into the socket and now mu question is, where should I re-wire that red wire and that 2 twister wires? Because I don't find anything under the center console trim.

      Take a look at the diagrams within the video it will say exactly which model and pin locatiion. Pin 1 is power so it needs to come from a distribution module under the dash on the pass side.

    Hi, how did you figure out heating do you maybe know I am trying to retrofit f10 comfort seats but I cant make heating work still

    • @DKTNYGARAGE
      @DKTNYGARAGE  Месяц назад

      If your car already had heated seats all should work no problem. If you had no heating you will need the panel and to run wiring back to the modules. Not sure the depth of this project as most cars in my area come with heated seats standard and I never looked into it on the f10.

      If you had already heated seats in the car and are installing comfort seats most are equipped with seat heaters if not all. If they're not working I'd check the seats for the necessary hardware.

      I'm sorry I wouldn't know how to wire that up except maybe making the oe control panel working in a different. It would take most likely a can simulator and similar signal generated voltage by the switch so you would have to measure that and try to recreate it.

    cześć orientujesz się może, czy fotele z F01 2011 roku, podejdą do F11 z 2012 (przedlift)? w swoim samochodzie mam podstawową skórę z pełną elektryką (przód tył, pochylanie, zagłówki, fotel kierowcy z pamięcią, pasażera bez) a fotele z F01 bez wentylacji i masaży. Szyny są takie same, więc mechanicznie powinno być bez problemu, tylko czy z elektryką mogą być jakieś problemy? Z góry dziękuję za odpowiedź i pozdrawiam

      Myśle ze mogą być takie same bo to ta sama generacja aut ale dla pewności wpakuj vin z f01 do ista i zobacz czy schematy się pokrywają albo jak możesz to porównaj wiązki, zjęcia wrzuciłem w filmiku.

      @@DKTNYGARAGE fotele pasują, wtyczki są te same, fotel pasażera nie zadziałał, ale to pewnie przez to, że nie mam u siebie pamięci tego fotela i nie ma CANa, przeciągnę sobie go z fotela kierowcy, bo pewnie tam jest skoro jest pamięć. Fotela kierowcy nie podpinałem, bo nie wiem czy jak są napinacze pasów, to czy przypadkiem nie zadziałają. A co do oświetlenia ambient, to w siedzeniach, które kupiłem są listwy ledowe z tyłu nad „kopertówkami”, tak jak wspominałeś podciągnę go z oświetlenia regulacji tylnego nawiewu

      @@DKTNYGARAGE jeszcze jedno pytanie dotyczące zasilania na pinie 1. Dlaczego nie wziąłeś zasilania z pinu nr 15? Muszę u siebie jednak podciągnąć plusa do fotela kierowcy, bo brakuje na pinie nr 1 i zastanawiam się czy nie można go podkraść z 15. U mnie jeszcze do przełożenia wiązka z napinacza pasa kierowcy bo u mnie w fotelu są dwa, ale nie powinno być problemu z rozplecieniem wiązki ze starego fotela.

      Not sure but all LHD cars should be set up the same way in a pre face lift. Are you in the EU? Could it be that your seats are from a RHD car? Possibly are your seats from a face lift car and your car is not?

      @@DKTNYGARAGE RHD seats in a RHD car for sure. Both pre LCI. I can see the seat loom has an occupancy sensor but the car loom does not have the corresponding wire for it, I can see from your diagram it goes to air bag control module A11 so will try adding that wire and see if the car picks it up. Hey mate, looking to get memory seats fitted to my F10 LCI, it currently has semi auto seats, you have to move it backwards and forwards with a lever, but the back and base can be adjusted with buttons on the sides of the seat. Would I still need to add a power cable for this?

      You will need to add this pin. Best bet is to get an old cut up wiring harness from like an F series chassis and use that as spares, that way you can pull and cut what you need and splice in new wires. If your car does not have these pins they need to be added.
