I have the original bag. The most expensive (by far) I’ve ever bought. The material you used scratches very easily, after one time laying it on the ground (to open it) it was covered in scratches. I hope you’ve used different material. Looks similar.

I got an Atlas that has similar layout/features. This is nice, but tbh I dig the Atlas more. I think it's worth including a hip strap thingy to give more support on say a hike, along with making the overall shape a bit thinner so it can fit underneath airline seats more easily. Those are things my Atlas bag does, even when fully kitted out with my photography setup and emergency pair of clothes inside. Edit: It's the Atlas Athlete pack (in black).

Let’s be honest here. I bought your last bag. I LOVED IT. And I did try really hard to use it whenever wherever possible. But I had to admit I was a bit too small for a bag that size and my back started feeling pain so I gravitated towards roller bag. And now you are launching everyday bags! I AM REAAALLLY EXCITED FOR THIS!
Reality is everyone relies on more than 1 bag. Different bags for different uses and different reasons. I love backpacks but messengers let you swap lens without taking them off.

The quality looks excellent. The engineering looks well thought out. The fact that the bag is sold empty is a huge disappointment. At that price point, it should come equipped with dividers.

When did water resistant become waterproof. The insides would be soaked thru the zippers since they don't look to be rubber sealed YKK's Total BS advertising hype

After a quick discussion with my significant other, I decided to back it and I’m so excited. It’s already at almost 200k raised. I wanted the v1 so bad but just couldn’t justify the price and size right now with how little gear and travel I do. But this bag is going to be perfect for me. Enough room for my current gear, not too big and plenty of room to expand my set up if need be.
great bag Peter.. question.. is there a pad or some sort of protection partition that separates the gear in the cubes from the divider portion on the opening flappy end? Just little worried about my lenses and and cameras might accidentally bang into the charger bricks and other valuable things on the other end that also need cushioning..
That's a pretty slick camera bag. But you know what? I miss the old Peter McKinnon. I miss the guy who flew across the country at a moment's notice just to get a shot that was was on his bucket list. I miss the guy who did a film about the resilience of the people of a drought stricken African country and summed it all up with a shot of a bowl that had been mended so it was still usable. I miss the guy who made such a beautiful film about his daughter that it brought a tear to my eye. And he did without ever showing her face to protect her. I miss the guy who provided tutorials and endless helpful tips for people who were just getting started in the craft. I miss the guy that actually cared about the art of making images and videos. The guy who didn't just see his audience as massive market for merchandise. I miss that guy.
There was a time I used to binge watch Peter's vids for hours and watch every new one that came out. I learned so much from him. He had around 250k followers at that time. Somewhere along the way he changed his approach and I lost interest. I'm not mad he's making money and found so much success. He deserves it. But his videos just aren't what they used to be. Seems more geared towards the niche uppity pro film guys. Decided to give this video a try after a long time because I have an obsession with buying backpacks. Now I see he has his own line he's promoting. Just made me shake my head. This isn't why I started watching the guy. Again, glad he's blown up and become successful, but I don't connect with what he's putting out anymore. Sadly I feel like I haven't missed much in the year or so since I last watched a vid of his, so this will be my last one. Unsubscribing.
