its good and it's a low noise projector with a small footprint and a very bright, clear picture but the colors are not right, I went into the color space menu and there is no way to get it to display the true color, it's not a big deal for some but for me its very important. the rec 209 is the cinema reference and this projector along with a lot of others at this price range don't display colors as true. eg flesh tones aren't right and greens are too bright. but if you are not a fussy git like me it's a dam fine projector.
I got this one after searching the best projector under $500. Didn't care about wifi or bluetooth since any streaming stick has wifi and can use bluetooth adapter through AUX if needed. Great buy so far, really impressed with the brightness and resolution

I just bought it and I am totally satisfied with the screen quality. But there is one thing that really bothers me. The “screen reduce” option only allows to reduce the screen to 75%. Unfortunately my projector is to far away and my wall is too small to fit the screen cause it’s limited by my door. Even if I reduce it to 75% it doesn’t fit perfectly. I got the feeling that a reduced screen to 70% would to do the trick but it’s just not possible. Is there a way to reduce the screen even more? Maybe with an software update? To simply move the projector more to the wall is not an option btw. I am super grateful about any tip :-)

I got this in the mail today and i set it up during the day time to check out the quality, it was really good with dim light, then i tried again over night before i came here to check out a few things related to keystone. Over all it works best in the darkest places and it's such an amazing device that i was lost for words. This device actually have an amazing resolution which is super sharp and crisp as it can get for a medium budget projector. I hope i answered your question and also many other things...
My brother gave me this projector since he bought a new one, but lost the remote so we’re unable to higher the volume. Can we use a Bluetooth speaker? Or buy a replacement remote ?
If you're using a projector to have a more theatrical experience then don't cheap out on sound. Loudness is not the point. The built in speakers will never have good quality audio. A dedicated sound system will make the whole experience a lot better.
Wondering if you can help. I have this projector; just plugged my PS4 Pro in via the hdmi to the projector but on the ps4 it says ‘this tv doesn’t support HDR’ so it won’t move from 1080p? How do I get it into 4K? Cheers
They advertise 20K hours, mine only last around 5K before it started getting a burn spot and I only use it about a few hours a day. It definitely is not 1080p native. More like 720p upscaled.
One thing I don't understand, it says 1080p up to 4k, can it actually play 4k content? So many of these advertise 4k supported, is this like the new HD ready bollocks where it doesn't actually put out the full resolution? Or does it work differently with projectors?
I had a problem with this projector. When you extend the front leg of the projector, the keystone correction doesn't work correctly. You press the correction button once, it changes the keystone by more than one times and randomly. Does anyone have similar problem?
With this projector, you would get approx 100 inch screen at approx 6ft distance, so at 14 feet, the screen would be much larger and it’ll still be a great image! At 14ft I would say almost 2.5 meter screen length!
I can help! Keystone adjustment is good with this projector. You have vertical adjustment straight from your remote control! For horizontal adjustment, go into setting and press right arrow 2 or 3 times and you’ll see keystone option. Press ok and you’ll be able to adjust horizontal keystone also. It’s very easy to do! Also, you can buy a separate Bluetooth transmitter and pair with a wireless Bluetooth speaker for better quality sound. This really is a great projector! You won’t be disappointed!
@@Nirflix Best picture settings basically depends on what you are projecting onto and what looks best to you. Personally, I just keep the settings to default as I think that gives me the best picture in terms of colour, contrast and sharpness, but you may have a different opinion on this. Also, I only adjust the keystone settings when I’m projecting from an angle but I try and keep the projector as straight as I can and keep the keystone settings to a minimum as it starts to distort the image when doing big adjustments. So I would say, the less you need to adjust the keystone settings, the better. This would be your best setting. Also, The distance from projector to wall determines your best picture quality. I find a distance of 8-10ft works great for me and anything passed 14ft and I start to loose a little picture and colour quality. You just have to play around with it and see what you prefer.
Try it out and see what ya think. I have a very "warm" and "cinematic" taste so I wanted to create the best picture to my warm tastes: Contrast: 40 Brightness: 43 Color: 50 Sharpness: 15 (I realize too much sharpness actually brings out too many edges) (Color Temp) Red: 100 Green: 50 Blue: 25 Everyone is different but I never change these settings after experimenting with a few top movie picks for over an hour.....

The image is actually very good for the price. but there is one downfall. Although it does have an HDMI and you can connect your Fire stick directly, the Audio does not work with the fire stick connected. i had to return it.

This one is different they say the optics are sealed so you will not get spotting on the lens.

No, gotta pay attention to the word play. It will accept a 4k signal, but it will downgrade to Native 1080p.

Yea I have mine about 14 feet and reduce screen size to 85% and I think its 120 so at 75% should be around 100.
12 ft away would produce 110 to 118 inches

This video and projector is over 3 years old. Of course you can find a much better projector for this price now.
