@@away_teamfrom my understanding, MiSTeX is not lauded as a competitor to MARS, MiSTeX is a less expensive, slightly less powerful competitor to MiSTeR.
MARS, even at its base level Ti180, will be able to do cores neither MiSTeR nor MiSTeX can do, which are the cores I am most interested in:
      CPS-3
      Naomi
      IGS PGM
And there is also a future iteration planned, using the Ti360/Ti375 which has twice the specs of the Ti180, so that one may well be able to do more modern consoles, arcade boards like Taito Type X series, and more modern handhelds.
Why in your mind, would the MiSTeX render MARS moot for someone whose favorite arcade boards are the CPS-3 & Naomi ?
Perhaps to someone whose favorite eras are 16BIT, 8bit, amiga, zx speccy, etc …. But none of those games interest me at all besides Zelda LTTP, SuperMarioWorld, Yoshi’s Island.

Love your channel. I was one of the first in line to purchase my Sega Genesis with the pack in game altered beast. I was so excited to own this and purchased every game that came out for it the day it was released. I spent so much money on my cartridges but couldn't wait so I paid full price. Any way, I don't think you have ever covered the game "The Misadventures of Flink". It was a late cartridge release in Europe only but a CD version was released in America. The graphics of this game are incredible with extreme detail and color that look 32 British in my opinion. Sound is also great with challenging gameplay. Cartridge and CD versions are almost identical except for the sound. Thank you for such great work.

Too bad I don't have much money to burn, otherwise I'd buy this in a heartbeat! Even so, knowing some 3rd party PS2 pads blow that system's rumble fuse (meaning even official pads won't vibrate if connected to your console), I hope they're making sure this stick won't blow your PS2's rumble fuse! (This is also why I've been holding fire over getting Retro Fighters' Defender pad)
If N64 compatibility happens, this'd make a great means of playing games that don't recognize the Control Stick! (This is why, if playing in handheld mode, I attached the left NES pad to my Switch for Kirby 64!)

That's Microsoft's fault and nobody else's. I'm sure it would have worked but Microsoft now blocks all non certified controllers, so even stick and leverless controllers that were fine on Series X a year ago don't work anymore. Same goes for the Brook adapters.
As of now you only have 3 stick options for Xbox: Nacon Daija, Hori Alpha and 8bitDo and zero leverless options.
Microsoft was already struggling to be relevant in the fighting game scene and that decision cemented their irrelevancy in that space forever. Let's not forget custom sticks are big in the fighting game scene and Microsoft shut all that out too.
