- Next on the chopping block.. weapon. I apologize for the few out of focus shots, the autofocus on my camera was not fond of the really bright shiny frets and maple fretboard, it decided to focus on the body instead and I didn't catch it 'til I edited this vid. Continuing the "fever" vids throughout the next little while and the new releases coming later this year
Tuning: Drop D
My favorite ATC song
Dude your covers are amazing. Well done. ❤
Damn what a Cover. Especially with Against the Current who love to layer guitar tracks, having the skill to all reconstruct them individually is admireable. Good job
Thanks! Yeah fever is packed with really dense layering, can make it kinda tough to showcase all the parts in these vids without making the guitars so loud that you can't hear the rest of the song behind it but making sure they're all still present. that won't save us is up next, has 6 guitars happening at once in the final chorus lol
@@jhmusic1 That Won't Save Us is one of my favorites by ATC guitar wise. Can't wait to see it. I've been practicing it on and off as of recently so seeing what you do will probably help me out with it!
@@icyd1amond I'll probably have the vid up for TWSU tomorrow or day after tomorrow. There's a lot of layers packed into that song, one of my favs from the EP
@@icyd1amond nvm, decided to get the edit done now lol, just uploaded it
@@jhmusic1 Ayo, you a G for that. haha Thank you!
PERFECT
Back at it again.. What chords are those during the prechorus though? The distorted ones, kinda hard to see. That part always stumped me on this song, could never get it right. Great work as always, same signal chain as the others?
Thanks! Couldn't tell ya the names of the chords lol, but in the form of ghetto youtube comments section tabs, the first chord is 6th fret A string, 8th fret D string, 10th fret G string. 2nd is 8th fret A string, 7th fret D string, 10th fret G string. 3rd chord starts with you going from 10th fret G string to 8th fret, then 10th fret A string, 8th fret D string and 10th fret G string. 4th is just a powerchord on the 8th fret A and 10th fret D. Signal chain is mostly the same, I used an Orange Jim Root Terror for the cleans and the ambient lead line for the intro and choruses but other than that it's all the same as the others
